The MCAT Staff posted a thread yesterday entitled "Score Release Date: the official word" with these contents:

"Our data guy is confident that he can have the scores up on Tuesday, October 12. However, there are a couple of critical deadlines between now and then, so we need to make it a little vaguer than that.
The official word is:
The Week of October 12"

The MCAT Staff are the only ones who can use the screen name "MCAT Staff" on that forum, so it is not bogus.

If you would like to see it yourself, hit the link, make a screen name, go to the "Discussion Board" section by hitting the icon on the left hand side of the screen, go to the "General Q&A" forum, and look for the thread title "Score Release Date: the official word."

I personally think they added the "week of" part just to cover their asses in case something goes wrong. But I would bet on 11 pm on Oct 11 - 11 pm on Oct 12 as the 24 hour period they will drop.

So will these scores be available for us to see online on OCT 12? or will they be sent out in the mail october 12?

i absolutely can NOT get involved on another discussion board...so i'll trust you with that post

the OP is correct. its the week of oct 12 so it can be the 13, 14, 15, 16, 17...who knows soo vague 🙁

It's easy to stay uninvolved on that discussion board. The posters (other than the SDN regulars) are so lame and the interface sucks. I asked them if they'd make a separate forum so we could only see MCAT Staff posts and they thought it was a good idea, but I haven't seen any action.

i hate boards where they won't listen to any input; and that shouldnb't be so difficult, others boards separate by topic
