October 15th acceptance notification?

Hey all you med students....just wondering...a lot of schools said I'd be hearing on October 15th since i interviewed pretty early in the season, did you guys get notices on time? How did they come? Specifically Vanderbilt and Wake Forest if you know...any others are cool too. thanks for your help!!

From Wake Forest students I talked to when I interviewed I was told that they are really good about being timely. The ones I had talked to heard within a couple of days of Oct 15th by snail mail.

AMY - the reason I posted this here was to see when med students got their acceptance notifications, obviously posting it in the pre-allo area would be stupid because very few of us have been accepted yet. but then again, if you had been able to think of that, maybe you would have gotten into a better school than cincinatti.

and by the way, as med students, you guys should be willing to help us out with advice...you were in our shoes not too long ago.

I think that many of us med students do look at the pre-allo pretty frequently to see how we can help out.

If you are so smart, than you should have done a search on this topic. You would have found out the information you need in 10 seconds.

Med students visit the pre-allo forum to answer questions such as these. What's with the insults??? Grow up, man.
