What are the chances of matching in the top 2-4 on your match list. I ask because I have about 4 good interviews where i'd be happy. these are like slightly less than top tier programs (like cornell).

If I only have 4 of these level interviews, does that mean they are a reach for me? For example, I got Cornell but rejected from sinai. Does that indicate that Cornell is a reach?

In the past, for IM the odds were very high that you match in your top 4. (roughly 90%, from my memory)

This year, it might be different. A number of programs have said at the interview that they each have thousands more apps this year, one program mentioned that preliminary data shows that IM apps are up 20% this year compared to last.

I think for AMGs, like 98% find a spot in their top 3 for IM 👍

I'm too tired to track down the stats though. It's high.
