haha...so where abouts are you in S Utah?

Do you mountain bike at all, or are just taking all that good trail for granted?

haha it all fits right...but no, not from Utah but I have family there. My dad grew up in richfield and my mom in provo, but I grew up elsewhere...several states. But yes to being LDS, and liking neon trees! I actually have seen them a few times a velour if you know provo. And my family goes to lake Powell often enough and it one of my favorites as well.👍

I went to UVU but recently moved to st George and I'm learning to love it down here. Went mountain biking, but that prob won't happen too often since I don't own a bike. That's really sad because the trails down here are pretty amazing

I arrived at my doctor's office for a routine physical and everything was going fine. My previous conditions had all gone away and we were wrapping up when my doctor (female by the way, I am male) told me that she was "Going to need to check me for an enema." She turned away for a moment to put on some gloves as she did so I stood up, took off my pants, and bent over.
I misheard her. One does not "check" for an enema. One checks for a hernia.
The moment she turned around I heard "Oh sweet Jesus, what!" and I immediately realized my mistake. I quickly turned around to see my now bright-red doctor flushing over the completely unprecedented sight of my anus pointed in her direction. I began to apologize profusely and what followed can only be described as an extremely awkward check for testicular cancer and a hasty departure on her part. Needless to say I, too, got out of there as quickly as possible.

it's funny how forthright some patients are with docs i've shadowed... people strip down to their skivvies (and less) baring all too see. no shame, no shame.

*shaking my head*... gotta love the wholeheartedness of some people though who will bluntly just take their trousers off and ask "Doc what's going on down here" 😱

My wife and I actually just started last week, so we are on week two...and if you are anything like me, it wont take a couple of weeks to hate yourself, haha.

My quads and calves are so sore that I'm sure I look like I have arthritis whenever I stand up or sit down.

Ha ha! Yeah that'll probably be me when I come out to interview in Arizona a few weeks from now. All I did was the fit test this morning and I feel strangely weak.

LECOM-B this week. LECOM-E last week wasn't too bad with the group interview. In some ways it kind of took the pressure off, you know?

I found the group interview at LECOM-B to have the same effect. It was my first interview and one of the schools I had the greatest chance of getting into, which really made me bring my A game. I was at the end of the table so I had the chance to express my opinions first, which allowed me to answer questions properly without having to say "I agree with so and so, etc."

As far as I know NSU-COM does not have group interviews.

I wasn't really a the beginning of the group or the end today, but for some reason I struggled to think clearly enough to answer with a unique answer today. It may have something to do with getting about 8 hours of sleep in the last 48 hours, but that's really my own fault.
I don't think I interviewed horribly, but it didn't go as smoothly this week. I think I'd rather get into Bradenton than Erie, so hopefully I didn't too bad here.
