I downloaded the SDN app for my iPad when it was free during promotion. 👍 I also forked over the whopping $0.99 for my Android.

Yeah I got the SDN app free on my iPhone. Can't multiquote but it works pretty well otherwise.
Plus, the way it organizes all of my participated threads makes it WAY easier to use than the computer. I love that feature and am flabbergasted they dont offer a sort feature on the website.

I haven't tried using that feature on my iPad, but I am a little pissed that you can't multiquote with the iPad. Multiquoting works just fine with my Android.

Yeah bro, it's the only way to go. I've tried going to the computer after using the phone, and I'll only do that if I have a really really long post to write do I don't wear out my poor thumbs. Ok that's a lie, I'll post those from my phone still too. 😉

I know I'm posting again and I'm going to bed, really I am. I just wanted to say that it's fun to look at my participated threads and see that I was the last one to comment on most of them before I go to bed. One last refresh to be sure and then I can sleep. I think I need an SDN intervention.

I haven't tried using that feature on my iPad, but I am a little pissed that you can't multiquote with the iPad. Multiquoting works just fine with my Android.

I have tmobile also. I'm using an iPhone 4. Not a new concept I know, but it can be done.
I agree that you do pay in large part for the brand name with apple stuff, but they do it so well. I just prefer the user interface that apple has come up with.
But let's not get into this discussion. It's like politics, nobody convinces anybody else and nobody wins. 😉

Yes apparently we do. Launch the app then under the Latest tab, one of the subtabs is Participated. 👍

This might be the first time I've realized it's there- probably been there all along.

What you mean is you don't value the higher end components that Apple product utilize. If you compare same quality/components, Apple is same, or lower, in price.

The problem is that people don't understand that not all ram, HDD, SDD, GPUs, screens etc are equal and that you cant determine the quality of the part by the specs alone. (i.e. more ram doesn't beat better ram, more pixels doesn't beat better lens/sensor,)


Its OK not to like Apple, but do it for the right reasons!

The high end parts argument can go either way. Theyre still Chinese parts. Lol
Plus, my 24" iMac died a few months back just after the extended warranty expired. The thing that torques me is that it was a graphics processor that died and that same line of GPU was recalled in the MacBook pro due to an unusually high rate of failure, but they wouldn't cover my iMac since the recall was on the MBP even though it's the same line of GPU. sadly, I just sold it on eBay for $330. Not too bad to get so much on a busted computer with no hard drive!

Speaking of iPhones... isn't Apple supposedly "releasing" the iPhone 5 tomorrow? I might actually get one now. I had an iPhone 3GS but got rid of it once Verizon came out with the Thunderbolt (their first LTE phone). Now that the iPhone 5 has LTE, I am seriously considering it. Although, the one thing I don't like about Apple is their justification for coming out with "S" models a few months after the initial release of the newest version. I wouldn't be surprised if they already have the iPad 10 in the works.

Yeah, tmobile is in the process of waiving my early termination fee since my new apartment gets zero signal. I may go with Verizon in the next month as well. 😉

I really like the big screen on my galaxy s3. I've heard the iphone5 is supposed to have a larger screen than current iphones though.. that would make it more desirable to me. Idk how fast lte is but I domt have a problem with this non-lte speed.

A LOT of cities have 4g now. Even lil old st George here has 4g, but only with Verizon.

Most people also don't use their apple product to its full potential... people buy $2k macbooks for facebook amd instagram. I can do all that on a $200 laptop just as fast and for just as many years as they can. Most mac users are on board the bandwagon. Yes macs are better than pcs in some ways but most people dont utilize it... therefore it's a waste of money.

Edit: does apple make quality products? You bet. My point is that most apple owners cant tell you the difference between their product and a cheaper product from a competitor.

I've never been an apple fan, but that's just because I've been on Windows all my life, cant do anything else. I do agree with HalfListic though. I bought a Dell XPS a few years ago which was at the time comparable to Apple's Macbook Air in specs and the price difference between the two wasn't much.

Apple products are expensive. But saying that the prices are high because of fanboy inflation is not right. Everything good comes at a price.

True. I have a Dell Studio XPS 17 inch and it was close to $2k when I bought it 4 years ago... comparable in price to the good MBPs. Hasn't given me any trouble whatsoever. I've had to replace the keyboard, but that was my own fault 😀

Vizio has some pretty nice lookin stuff, laptops, all in ones and tablets, that are looking pretty legit. I'm all for some more competition in the market!

I used to have a BlackBerry. Only recwntly got rid of it because after 5 years ir finally broke.

Just canceled my flight to Chicago and I'm gonna take the train instead. Same amount of time as driving but the train costs half as much and about 6 times less than flying.
