I emailed their secretary back on January 16. She said apps were being reviewed and interview invites would be offered from late January to early February. I really liked that program and will be sorry not to have a chance there. I'd say if you don't hear from them by next Friday it's probably not a good sign.

If your application was complete, they sent this email out:

Hello Applicant,

You are receiving this email because your application materials were
considered complete enough to go to review. Interview weekends will be
held next month throughout and individual interviews will also be next
month and possibly during March. If you are selected for an interview

applied to.

Decisions will be made in the weeks to come and typically arrive in

Has anyone heard anything about George Mason? Its my reach school, but also my favorite...
 
According to the website, interviews were to be furnished by 2/2/08. Neither I nor any SDN member has been contacted regarding an interview for 2/22 or 2/23. I suspect a delay and expect that invitations will be extended early next week.
 
UW-Madison only does phone interviews. I received an email from the dept. notifying me on my interview time and had the interview yesterday. According to the faculty member I spoke with they will be deciding who to admit next week, and notifying shortly thereafter.
 
Penn State's Counseling Program brought people to campus on 1/25 & 1/28.

Arizona State - Counseling sent email invites today (2/1) for interview days on 2/22 and 2/25.

Columbia - Teacher's College emailed invites today (2/1) for interviews on 2/21 or 2/22.
 
I just finished my undergrad in McGill Psych honors. Anyone can pm me if they want some insider scoop on any professors. Great school, just be prepared for far too much administrative red tape.

In response to someone who asked about this, I contacted them and they said they will be sending invites by mid Feb.. arrghhhhh

Got a phone call for an interview from Boston College (counseling) POI. Interviews are 2/25, 2/26.

also, all the Teacher's College Counseling shenanegans have got me jumpy - anyone heard from TC for their Clinical program?

Interview dates are 2/22 and 3/3.

ETA: She specifically stated: "The clinical faculty are meeting tomorrow to construct of list of students to interview." I wonder if she really emailed all of her potential invites?

ETA (2): UNCG does not offer phone interviews. They only admit in person interviewees. I asked for a phone interview, unless they could help with the travel costs. The faculty will make final decisions tomorrow morning.

I'm still wondering who the applicant w/ a bad experience at UNCG was trying to work with ...

Hey, I'm wondering if you ever heard back from UNCG? I also received an email asking me if I was interested in a certain lab. I responded by saying that I was, but I haven't heard back about interviews. This happened on Tuesday. Do you know if the invites are out by now?

After I responded to the DCT, she emailed me back that night that final deliberations would be made on Friday afternoon and that she would be making calls to her interviewees (I was matched w/ her lab) on Friday afternoon and Saturday afternoon. She did call me yesterday, but I'm not sure if you have the same POI or if she was able to reach everyone yet. As far as I know, the final list was made Friday -- but it still might take a few days for them to call. Good luck!
 
Has anyone heard anything from the University of Maryland College Park regarding the School Psychology Phd interviews? I know that they interviewed on President's Day last year and I haven't heard anything yet, so I'm starting to get worried....😱

I got messages for VCU clinical psych on Jan 22 and Jan 28. I don't know if the invites were sent out/received that day, that's just when I was notified of people getting invites.
 
I know at least one other person on here is waiting to here from Albany aside from myself. I just read on their website that they will extend invites by the end of February and that the interview day typically falls on the 1st or 2nd Saturday of March. That's such a long time to wait. 🙁
 
George Mason University - notified 2/1 by e-mail for an interview 2/23. I wasn't offered 2/22 as a date, but maybe it depends on the POI.
 
Has anyone heard from BU? I thought that they were supposed to be making their final decisions last week....
 
So should I be super depressed and/or in full fledged panic mode because I haven't heard anything from my schools?:scared:
 
hi, has anyone heard from the Univ. of Oregon Clinical Psy. program? It's not listed on the Master list (only school psy. and counseling psy.), and it's the last of the schools on my list which I haven't been able to find out regarding interview dates. Would appreciate if you guys know anything.
 
I haven't heard from BU or Purdue at this point.
 
Indiana State University extended PsyD invites last week. Interviews are 2/15 and 2/22.

Any news from University of Denver PsyD?

I have only heard from three programs:

Pepperdine Clinical PsyD 2/11
American Clinical PhD 2/15
George Mason Clinical PhD 2/22

I heard from Denver PsyD on Jan 31 (see first post for interview info). According to islandgirl, invites will still be coming out this week by phone.
 
Got an e-mail today from POI to set up a preliminary phone interview. Not sure when interview weekend will be.
 
Got my first rejection... from Texas Tech Clinical Phd. 😎

I was wondering if re:Columbia was this for the counselling program or the clinical program? or both?

I did too, but it was SO nicely written! The letter read so sympathetically, i even posted it on the fridge. They actually apologized for the fact that we will receive a second rejection letter from the grad school, they were sorry in advance. haha, nice... 😉

I found this thread today, and it's great, because now I realize just how not-alone I am!

So far I've heard from only one of the seven schools (all clinical psych) I applied to. Sam Houston State wants me for an interview... which is this coming weekend. So I'm currently preparing for that stress-fest!

The other schools I haven't heard from yet are
University of Alabama
University of Arizona
Drexel
University of Illinois @ Chicago
University of Houston
University of North Texas

The waiting isn't getting to me too badly, as I have so much other stuff going on, but reading about how many of you are receiving phone calls is scaring me a little. I have been without my cell phone for a week and a half now (I'll have a new one tomorrow) and I wonder if any of those programs have tried to contact me. Surely they would contact me via some other method, right?

Yes, I wouldn't worry about the phone issue too much. I'm sure they would try to contact you again by E-mail - a lot of schools contact through E-mail anyway. If you are still worried you can always call them, explain your situation, and ask for an update.
 
I just received an interview invite email from Fordham!

They are holding interviews on 2/13, 2/15, 2/22.

Thank you! I was so surprised. Definitely didn't think I would get an interview.

It was a group email from the department head- asked you which dates you prefered and to request which professors, or area, you would like to interview with.
 
Did anyone receive anything in the postal mail in regard to the unusual e-mails that DePaul sent out?
