2 waitlists, 2 waiting to hear post-interview, 0 accepts.
 
Just talked to Emory, they still have a full class in case anyone is waiting on them, I wouldn't expect good news. They also have a big waitlist

Does anyone know what the status of MCW is regarding a full class/waitlist movement???
 
For those of you accepted from the OOS waitlist at UVM, did you only receive an e-mail, or was your status page updated as well?
 
Is it a good thing or a bad thing that none of the four schools I am waitlisted for aren't listed in people's responses above?

I'm really sick of waiting. This is year number two, and a two year total of six waitlists for me, and I am NOT looking forward to year number three.

Good question. Good because that would mean your school has people ahead of you on the waitlist. Bad becasue it might mean low moveemnt form these school. I guess you already knew that. So I'd say, if its a school you expect to see a lot of WL movement from, then thats a good sign. If its from a school where you dont expect much movement, bad sign. Just my $.02

I feel for you, round three cant be fun, good luck, 4 is a lot!

Eh, same here, the schools I am WL at have not shown up here either... I'm hoping it is because they are taking their time and not because of a poor WL season/I missed out on it....

Yeah, very. Was pretty much waitlisted across the board, and wasn't really expecting much--maybe I just became a less hopeful person as this application process went on, lol. But yeah, was very (pleasantly) surprised to hear.

im starting to think that being a trojan on SDN gets you off WLs.
 
I just changed my SDN name...hoping to catch some of this waitlist love the trojans have enjoyed recently.

thanx nehc, im still hoping we can be classmates next year. ill be pullin off the nyu waitlist, so i hope that in some way helps your chances, i still think it would be ridiculous if u have to reapply.

You can already send transcripts to AMCAS?
 
My transcripts went out as well last Thursday. In the AMCAS tips for applicants 2009, it recommends completing sections 1 and 2 (not necessarily the grades, but the schools section) and then sending in your transcripts (so that they know what to receive)!

Getting them in is smart, because it will only allow them to process them on day one. Of course, I would rather get off of the wait list and not have to worry about it, but I do want to make sure to increase my chances for next year if not...
 
im on the fence about reapplying for a third time or just biting the bullet and going to PCOM this fall.
 
I have officially withdrawn from the waitlists at Duke, Sinai, Cornell, UVA, and Pitt. It took maybe half an hour. Withdrawing my Rochester acceptance is going to take a wee bit longer, because I want to compose a really heartfelt email to them. I mean, they were the only school to offer me an outright acceptance and I want to show them the care and gratitude that they deserve! Here's hoping for more waitlist acceptances today!!!! YOUR DAY WILL COME SOON EVERYONE! :luck::luck::luck:
