Eh, just a random little Asian fusion place near the dance studio... I think it was called Indochine? New York is full of tiny, charming places like that.

What part of the post was confusing?

dArroway asked which restaurant I went to. I said that I went to a restaurant that I'd never heard of before (hence "random"- the group I was with just walked out of the dance studio looking for a place to eat and, when we saw the restaurant, decided to go in). The place served a mix of Asian cuisines ("Asian fusion" is a term used for food that combines lots of different kinds of Asian cuisines together - sometimes places will also add a French, American, or other Western flair to the food). The name of the restaurant was Indochine. It's easy to find interesting places to eat in New York City because there are so many restaurants like Indochine- places that you might never have heard of that still have a nice atmosphere and tasty food.

I'm planning to send a really, really short update around the middle of June (my favorite schools might get an additional update sooner), just to remind the schools that I'm still enthusiastic. That'll be it. I mean, the application season is winding down now. By July, I'll *NEED* to know where I'll be next year and the chances of acceptance will be infinitesimal, so I'll probably just withdraw.

I'm pretty tired of hearing about how hard it is for people to choose between schools they've been accepted to. I mean really, it's been months for most of these people and they are still whining about this really tough decision?
I've run out of understanding and patience. Grow up and make a decision you spoiled brats.

Arg. I'm sorry, I am just tired and frustrated and sick of this indefinite waiting. And of course I know that really it doesn't matter if people choose today or thursday i may not find out until june or july.
