I don't think so either. I've also looked at Grad Cafe and the only thing thats on there is an invite for the Cognitive program that was sent out on the 17th. I really just want to know already! (as I'm sure we all do lol)
I don't think so. You don't even have to give them your name if you don't want to, you can just ask if they've sent out invitations. Although giving your name is not a big deal at all (unless you plan on calling every single day until April 15 LOL)

As far as i understand it, the individual POI's at UCLA do not choose who gets an interview. This decision is made by committee. Thus, I would not expect a POI to contact a prospective student for this program. It appears that the department contacted the applicant in this instance... hope this helps.

I hear you! I feel like today for some reason has been the worst. I haven't heard anything and I feel super negative. Even though I know no one has heard from most of my schools.. It's depressing. 🙁

LOL it's nice to know we're not alone anyway... here I am sitting at my work desk, bored out of my mind w/ my job, wondering what the heck i'm going to do w/ myself if i don't get in anywhere! nice to know there are others out there, possibly thinking the same thing 🙄
I'm not in panic mode just yet because it's only January 21st. I called two of my schools to find out where they were in terms of sending out invites and they were both very tight-lipped, so I figured that was my sign to let things come as they may! Relax people...it's only your future you're waiting on.

haven't heard anything yet either... i'm trying just to focus on the fact that none of the schools i applied to are listed yet, so they must be extending interviews next week and into february. in this case, no news is good news (but it's still hard not to ruminate about it!)
I just got this email from the dept. admin. at Loyola Chicago (I almost wet myself again when I saw the email address... the nerves are just shot!! This waiting this is terrible!!!) 😛

This process is making me crazy.
Didn't get that email...no worries though I guess. Did you email them first? I'm assuming not, since you almost wet yourself LOL

i didn't get that e-mail from Loyola Chicago either... Is that for the PhD or the PsyD?
I also applied to UT Austin and have heard nothing. With their early deadline I am surprised that nobody has heard on SDN. I emailed them on Monday to ask if they have extended all invites and nobody responded. Please post if you hear anything!
I am fairly certain that the UNC Chapel Hill faculty are currently reviewing applications.
sorry everybody.. yeah i emailed them yesterday. but yes, i still almost wet myself!! thats how ridiculously on edge this whole process has made me!!! 😀

1. Duke: sending out interviews by Friday, interview dates are Feb 6 or 9
2. Northwestern: meeting today re: interview invites, should be sent out soon, interview date is Feb 13
3. St. John's: interview invites going out in March (!!), no interview date set yet
4. LIU: Interview invites going out on a rolling basis starting in a couple of weeks, interview dates are last Sat. in Feb and first Sat. in March
5. American: Sending out invites next week, interview dates are Feb 9 and 20

Three of my schools have already sent out invites (including my two favorites!) and I'm bummed. I still have 4 other schools to hear from in the next couple weeks so I'm trying to keep my hopes up. But for everyone else feeling a little blah, I'm right there with ya today.

Can't be any colder than here in MPLS. My boyfriend and I were talking about going to Chicago for VDAY anyway...we should just plan the trip and I can hope for an interview!

I spoke to someone in the Texas A&M psych department today. She said they haven't finished looking at applications yet and not all interview invites have been extended.

FYI...Got an email from a professor @ Eastern Michigan saying she wanted more information and that they were still reviewing applications. Their interview date is 2/13/09.

Thank you for posting info about TAMU. It is one of my top choices. I got an email from them on Monday saying that no interviews had been handing out and they would be doing so in the next few days/weeks, but that very same day somebody on here got an invite. I was so confused! Please post if you hear anything else. Thanks!

She wanted to know more detailed information about my research interests. I gave her some specific proposals for future study. The email was quite short so I don't think it was considered an "email interview".

Has anyone heard from University of South Florida or anymore people heard from University of Central Florida?
I was emailed yesterday for an interview for USF's School Psych Program (although you're probably referring to the clinical program)...dates are Feb. 6th and 13th.....I also applied to UCF's clinical program and haven't heard anything back yet....
