Hey SDNers, my first time posting just wondering if I got any luck.
Following are my stats.

Minority and Alabama resident
sGPA - 3.62
oGPA - 3.74
Research experience of more than 2 years.
Shadowing still in progress, so far 55+ hrs.
DAT scores - PAT 20/ QR 15 / RC 17/ Bio 19/ GC 19/ OC 18/ TS 18/ AA 18.

how can people on here have AADSAS mail out date earlier than jun 25th? I thought that was the first mail out date.

For those with unlv interviews, when did unlv email you (the date) saying your application is complete and under review?
 
I got an email that my application is complete and now under review on July 21. Seeing people are getting interviews, I'm getting anxious too....

Dang. Only like 1/11 of my schools even started giving out interviews yet. I should've picked the ones that give them early haha. Congrats!
 
For those who got interviews at NOVA or I guess even if you just filled out the secondary. I always get weary on whether or not to answer the question "Describe any special circumstances that may help aid the Admissions Committee in their decision" -- would I just describe if I had any events that would have caused a dip in my grades? Or describe an event where I was like "I really want to do dentistry now!"? It's not a requirement to answer so I'm always iffy about it.

If it helps your decision at all, I did not fill that question out for any of my apps. It seems to be a common last interview question at some schools, however.

I left it blank and still got an interview invite.

I don't know. They emailed me on the 18th of June and told me they had received my application and were reviewing it. So thats the date I posted. AADSAS says my mail out date was June 25th though.

I was reading the guidebook and Nova accepted 59 students OOS while interviewing 29. Does that mean you can get interview without acceptance? Also why are there so little OOS interview at NOVA?

It's a typo, Nova actually interviews A LOT of people... According to the 2009 ASDA Booklet, they accept/interview: 1/22 people which is more than NYU and Midwestern.

Congrats! When is your interview? I just got an interview there as well but only saw one available day on the calendar for August.
