I guess we'll find out whenever my fall semester marks are official, then... I'll probably try to update the admissions office once I have them.

oh wow, I didn't know that. I honestly didn't even get a rejection email. I had checked portal and it said interview not offered. I emailed them and was pretty surprised and asked if I got rejected because I submitted my secondary in so late (late November). I was also pretty upset because Jefferson NEVER told me how to check portal or that I received a secondary. I reached out to them and they finally told me oh I did get one and this is how to check it. But the doctors stated, it wasn't for that reason and that they are still looking at applicants who have better stats than me.

I also just looked back to my 2012/2013 cycle.. I didn't get rejected from Jefferson until 4/11.

I really worked hard to improve my application and the fact I still don't have a single interview invite hurts so badly but I can't and refuse to give up - I want this so badly. I just wish one, literally one school would see that, interview me, and accept me!

I was complete early September..due to a late mcat re-take..had to wait for the score. Ive been a bit obsessed with NYMC looking at last years patterns..and I just feel there is hope! Are you also instate?

Reposting the good ones..according to last year!
Jefferson: Invites given out 12/31 thru 3/11..many dates!
Temple: Invites given out 1/16 through 3/9..decent amt of invites!
NYMC: Invites given out Jan through April. Alot of waitlist acceptances on May 6.

yep, from NY! That's why I was hoping I would get a state school first but if not, I really hope NYMC will show me love!

I didn't get one of those rejection responses (phew) but instead a thank you, so I hope it's a good sign.
 
Just wanted to say best of luck to everyone in this thread. I completely understand what it's like to feel hopeless and down having gone through this process last year, but realize that if you want it badly enough, you'll find a way to get it, no matter what, sooner or later. good luck everyone!
 
All of you waiting on Albany and CMS, are you on the II hold or have you not heard anything yet?
 
I have a DO acceptance, so that has helped my anxiety level quite a bit, but still no US MD IIs as of yet. (I did interview with Sackler, for what that's worth, not sure it's superior to a DO program)

Since I'm borderline for MD I'm hoping for something... Maybe NYMC since they never put me on hold hah

that's how I felt when SUNY Upstate and SUNY StonyBrook rejected me 🙁 I am sorry, this really really sucks.

This process is driving me insane. I just keep on checking my portals and SDN for updates #whathasmylifebecome

I'm so sorry to hear that, perhaps there will be brighter horizons in other states. Don't get too discouraged yet, there have been so many IIs this is week, there will probably be more to come. Sending good vibes and well wishes your way.

OK I'm better now..wow that stung..Stony Brook..out of my now 11 rejections this one hurt the most..thank you for the support..I needed it.

I completely understand. Stony Brook hurt the most for me as well. Then Upstate. Then Hofstra. Then SKMC. (then the other rejections I received but I shall not list!) But it's ok cuz you know what, we probably weren't good fits for them or they weren't good fits for us, and now we are going to get into schools that are perfect for us. WE GOT THIS!

I interviwed there three times (1 for each 3 years of applying) So three years of silence (although I was accepted to 1 PA program in that time), then this year I actually got a little interest. Be ready to throw down some cash though. I applied extremely broad.

This is my third time applying and the amount of money that has gone to applications is insane. I am proud of you for your resilience - shows the makings of a fine doctor - congrats to you - so happy for you - you're going to be a doctor!!!!!!!!!

I really hope so...Hofstra really stunk but after I saw who they were rejecting and the stats they had I didnt feel so bad. If I dont hear from NYMC I would be crushed but it is what it is and we have to roll with it. Tomorrow is another day! Thanks!
