Penn has 1 - 1/12, and 5 - 1/19. There doesn't seem to be a way to check for UChicago, they use some weird software and I can't access their available dates.

Got waitlisted at UC Davis last night, but got interviews at UCSF, Stanford, and UCSD. This process is as byzantine as the electoral college.

Not atypical.

If you're competitive for UCSF and Stanford, the folks at Davis know you're not going there. Why waste an interview slot on you?

I had a question regarding which IVs (if I were to choose 1) to cancel in California. Would say I'm pretty invested in going there for residency but wouldn't be too upset if I didn't match there. Interested in cards/heme-onc.

I don't know about BU but there are multiple spots available on 1/5 and 1/12 for Cornell.

anyone still waiting to hear from upenn? They said we should hear about waitlist/rejection 2 weeks after oct 28. The last day was yesterday, but I still haven't heard anything.
 
Yea, I think the timeline on the Penn website is off. Their second wave was also sent out about a week later. But I think there are still a lot of us who are still in limbo.

I don't know of a list (this information is probably available individually for programs in FREIDA or the ERAS application service) but my general impression is most, if not all.

Anyone who's interviewed at Yale - what time does the interview day end? Trying to make travel plans to get to my subsequent interview.

Whew, I've been trawling the West Coast this month, so it wasn't me. May your dreams and fantasies live on ever longer. My biggest pet peeve have been applicants who are all like "Oh I'm OF COURSE subspecializing hahahahahehehe oh yes of course of course my GOD". There was also this one really obnoxious suck-up who honed in on every single resident and was like HI LOOK AT ME I HAVE THIS SUPER COOL CONNECTION WITH YOU AND I'M A BIG SCHMOOZEBALL. I've also met some ridiculously talented and kind folks.

My dad did his intern year at Loma Linda and said he probably drank more caffeine there than at any other time in his life lol.

I can't say I've ever been there. I've just heard there's basically no coffee allowed in the hospital.

I'm also biased towards LA as my name suggests ;)
