Ohhhh, I don't use twitter. Barely even FB. lol
@DMikes You are definitely not on Team No Interview, and if you are currently, you'll be traded soon to Team Too Many Interviews with that 27 of yours. lol

Still waiting myself
AADSAS mail-out date: 7/29/16
Residency: MS
19AA/18TS/17 PAT - interstingly enough my CR section sucked on the actual test, i was scoring 20-22 on practice test and the section i ran into on the actual thing was much harder than anything i had encountered.
3.6 oGPA, 3.55 BCPM
A couple thousand or so hours of work experience in healthcare.

Only applied to 5 schools though. Had 13 and didn't realize how much it would cost. So FWIW we got Kentucky, Mississippi, UAB, Florida, and Tennessee.

First Interview! I was shocked considering my relatively low stats and the fact that I didn't finish submitting everything at the moment.

School: UDM
Notification date: 7/18/16
Method of notification: email
Residency: NY
AADSAS mail-out date: 6/24/16
Application complete date: 7/20/16
GPA (science, overall): 3.24, 3.43
DAT (AA/TS/PAT/Reading/any section below a 17): AA 19/TS 19/PAT 20/RC 21/none below 17

The only other school that responded so far was SUNY Buffalo saying that my application has been placed in "continuing review" and considering the previous few posts I suppose that's a rejection, which in my case is very understandable 🙁.

P.S. Not sure if it's worth mentioning, but my gpa, after hitting a low point, did have an upward trend (last semester was a 3.8).

Hey! I also got invited for an interview for UDM! Did they ever email you back confirming an interview date? I emailed them back two dates that worked for me and then haven't heard back since :/

Is this an actual thing?

I guess I've always called the week before school starts "welcome week", and from what I read on previous cycles a lot of schools begin sending out invites this week (general statement, doesn't necessarily mean it will happen this year obviously). And keep in mind when I say that my focus is on the Midwest schools I applied to, not the others I didn't.

Oops sorry I replied to you twice.

What is CR and what is FWIW?

Whoops I thought the section was comprehensive reading. I meant reading comprehension. Fwiw is for what it's worth

Hi everyone
My GPA has not been verified yet but I still have got an e-mail from one of the school that my application has been received.
Does anyone know is this a good thing? bad thing? or doesn't mean anything? Thanks.

Did anyone here get a phone call from NOVA for some reason? I got a call today and they left a voicemail but the voice was not clear at all. I tried to call back, but they were already gone for the day.

Got a rejection from MWU-AZ this morning as well as NOVA last week. So far 6 interviews and 2 rejections - applied to 15 schools. Moral of the story is: don't give up, this whole process is a crapshoot 🙂

Way to stay positive! We all need that encouragement

Do both of those schools not have holistic admissions processes? The people I see getting rejected from them confuses the heck out of me, and is making me glad I didn't apply to Nova.

I guess not - I have pretty average stats and I'm not a minority nor do I have anything "super special" about my application - I was pretty involved in research and community service but that's about it. It's funny how I have interviews at my "reach" schools, and have gotten rejected by my "safety" schools

This is the school that I scheduled an appointment for counseling and told me not to reapply to them unless I got above my 19AA/19PAT/22RC. Wish I didn't just see your post. Ugh. But congrats! Knock 'em out during the interview (not literally)!

Edit: Is it too late to apply to them now? I was thinking to add them and Loma Linda. I have already 21 schools, but no interviews yet. I need some of that @personalstatementsbyeric charm!

Nova and MWU-AZ seem like the quickest to reject each year. I'm sure they have some efficient cutoff process. I called Nova after the first time I applied and was told to not apply again and save my money so they're at least pretty straightforward.

So how many rounds on average would you say schools send out. Cause I've seen a few interviews sent out to schools I've applied to and didn't receive one yet. So should I give up hope on those schools?

Never give up on hope until the schools actually contact you. Stay patient!

That easy for you to say with your high stats. You know you will get plenty of interviews regardless so you know you can stay patience and calm.

Stats don't mean everything! It takes longer to review a holistic candidate than a typical, traditional candidate. There's lots of rounds. I know it seems like it's been a long time, but it's a LONG process! It's still relatively early. Try to stay positive. 🙂

I was just trying to offer some comforting words. My bad.

Didnt mean to sound rude but it easy to stay positive when you have nothing to worry about. You cant relate to someone that is praying for just one interview but feeling totally hopeless. I was there last year and it not easy to keep hope and patience when you feel all is lost. It like someone on the chance me thread asking with 3.9sgpa and 27 dat. Cant really take them serious.

I honestly had no clue about the persons background or stats when I made that comment. I was just being friendly, but, you know, no good deed goes unpunished. Good luck with the application cycle!
