I would definitely go to UF over Nova. 1) it's way cheaper 2) Quality of education is way better. I definitely know where you are coming from as I did my bachelor's and master's at UF and sometimes you want change but I wouldn't push them down your list just because of that. Maybe if you were doing the DMD/PhD which takes 8 years, then I would consider going somewhere else. Other than that, UF is 100% worth staying for another 4 years.

Couldn't PM you so I hope you don't mind me saying this. But you got an interview at UF and got rejected from LECOM and Nova without an interview?! Seems like the two Florida private schools are gonna be missing out on good candidates.

No, I don't mind at all!! I'm not exactly sure why I got rejected but that's very true! They were totally on my list as I would love to stay in Florida. I absolutely love LECOM too 🙁

Congrats, are you excited to get some good weather in 2 days? I've been checking all week and as of right now it looks like sunny and mid 60s
 
I'm not sure what to make of my list. I applied to 20 schools for better odds and got 4 interviews. I have zero rejections, does that mean I'm gonna get a bunch of post dec. interviews?
 
Has anyone not herd from a majority of their schools.. I've gotten 2 rejections 1 from NOVA and the other from MWU-AZ(but they offered me a pharmacy spot lol??). But other then that I have gotten a few we're still reviewing your application but from majority of other schools nothing. Dead Silence lol..

Do you mind sharing your stats and your shadowing & volunteer hours, etc.?

I applied to 12 and currently have 2 rejections (ASDOH & LECOM), 1 waitlist at MWUAZ, and I had 1 interview. Silence from everywhere else as well, hang in there, hopefully you’ll hear more post December 🙂

I applied to 15, hear back and interviewed at 3, 0 rejections and silence from the rest.

I applied to 20 and have 4 interviews and 16 quiet, also 0 rejections. It's a little unnerving

Undergraduate GPA: 3.3 (strong trend after my second year, basically a 3.6++ since then )
Masters GPA: 4.0 would have been a 4.33 if they didn't change the scale ...haha..
AA 21 TS 20
300+ hours shadowing & volunteering over the years, over 40,000$ in scholarships and awards and a strong personal statement.

Majority of my applications were submitted between June and mid July. I added about 3 apps in August and September. Was waitlisted for interview at MWU-AZ and rejected from NOVA.

This Weekends = "Entire Year"!
To pass time: my plan on Saturday to volunteer at a hospital and then eight-hour shift at work. And Sunday I will go to a mall, dinner at a restaurant, watch a movie, and play video games! Time should pass quicker 🙂
What would you do? Would be interesting to learn how others spend their time and incorporate in the future.

Working like 12 hour shifts both Saturday and Sunday during the day. When I get home Sunday night, I'll probably play video games until midnight, hope for some news then, and then probably won't be able to sleep at all despite being exhausted.

Packing for my cross-country move in 3 weeks, preparing for several presentations, and working on capstone projects. The end is near.

I'm going home to watch the Packer game at Lambeau Sunday, and tomorrow I'm writing papers for some of my classes. Hopefully that helps, but even today is taking forever to pass 🙁

I have finals coming up and a paper due (plus a group presentation to give next week). So, I have A LOT that I should be doing on all of them this weekend (should being the operative word :laugh:).

I'm going to try to try to work on these....but it is very, very hard to concentrate and do effective studying or writing right now!
