Maybe they chose their own interview dates.I wonder why your interview is on 8/27 and if you look above this thread someone with higher stats has on 9/24... Curious to know

Last year it seems like schools were updating AADSAS a ton. Apps were always "under review" before receiving interviews. This year, it seems like they really aren't updating at all. I have 10/10 schools that just say "verified", but my app was completed and mailed out a month and a half ago. Is anybody who has interview invites having their app status changed on AADSAS, or are we all just verified?
All still say verified. Don't see the point in the status bar if they don't use it.
Maybe they chose their own interview dates.
I didn’t get to chose mine, they just gave me my September date!Maybe they chose their own interview dates.
GPA and DAT are not the only thing on their applications.
Maybe the school likes to interview re-applicants first?
That's great. For my interview I got to choose a date. Again, it depends on the school.I didn’t get to chose mine, they just gave me my September date!
What would be a reason behind this? If you know of
Maybe the school likes to interview re-applicants first? There could be a number of reasons.

I would personally accept a student with a well rounded application. There is probably enough students with 4.0 and 23+AA to fill the whole class of Columbia yet they continue to accept 19AA and 3.3 GPAs
Yes, they do. Virtually every school does. There’s more to an applicant than a test score and GPA! So many “good applicants” based on scores get in and then are awful providers. Medical schools do this too. That’s the whole point to the holistic approach of reviewing apps.Do they really accept lower GPA/DAT applicants???
Do you think there is a certain DAT score beyond which schools don't really care and start to pay attention to other factors? I am sure it varies between schools, but what do you think in general?Yes, they do. Virtually every school does. There’s more to an applicant than a test score and GPA! I have no idea! I guess that’s a possibility! I’d assume anything about a 17AA they at least consider other aspects of the applicant.Do you think there is a certain DAT score beyond which schools don't really care and start to pay attention to other factors?
