Not sure how many they send out in a week, but each interview day only has about 6-8 students, and only 2 dates have been confirmed (8/20 & 8/24), and so far about 6 people have gotten invites- 2 here, 3 on the school thread and 1 person that PM'd me. There might be more, because not everyone uses SDN- they might've posted on fb or haven't even posted at all anywhere. Not sure if that helps, but the interview days are really small and that's why invites are few and far between.

I spoke to an admissions coordinator who visited my school and they even tried to emphasize that they do not prefer in state vs out of state, its just that most of the people who enroll are CA residents because they want to be here. I personally think they should show preference for in state residents because it is a state school and residents pay taxes to them, but that's what they told me. They could have also been saying that because my school is in NC and they could have wanted to convince us to apply regardless of residency.

"Applicants are required to provide a minimum of TWO (2) letters of recommendation. ONE letter must be from a Science Faculty OR Predental Committee Member and ONE from a Dentist."

Just had mine at VCU, I was a nervous wreck. At the end of my interview I think I rambled some incoherent gibberish and made my exit without shaking any of my interviewers' hands, definitively left quite the impression haha.

Don't worry many schools are just taking their time to holistically review your application, so they will see that you put alot of effort into the application process. On a side note, I was wondering if it's common to see others getting interviews for school that you have already applied to earlier even though the application was submitted at a later time?

same here for UDM. I got mines at 9/22 at 8 am and I am planning to go to Little Caesars Arena to see the RedWings play the Bruins after my interview.

this was the date the school emailed me that it was complete, my supplemental was received and they were beginning to evaluate my app!
