yeah, I had transcripts from two universities, and I got two separate confirmation emails, each for one school.
 
Sorry if this was asked before:

When inputting your MCAT score onto AACOMAS, do we input multiple ones if we took it more than once? I'm assuming we should send both too?
 
Also, is anyone else having an error where they input their MCAT "test taken" date, but in the dashboard, it shows one day earlier?
Like in the edit option, I would click 01/15/2015, but in the dashboard, it shows 01/14/2015. Any idea what to do with this?

I'm having trouble clicking on the "Pay for My Programs" button since June 4th even though I have completed every sections.

Does anyone know an alternative way to pay or to get the grayed out button fix?

I just spoke to someone on the phone at AACOMAS. She said that depending on when your prior universities sent the transcripts in the mail, it takes about 3 days (max) for the transcripts to be received. They process the transcripts, which takes about 10 days, and then you will get a notification/email when everything is good.

Did you call your prior universities to find out if/when they sent them? They'll be able to tell you exactly what date they mailed everything out.
 
Yes, they sent then the 28th and 29th
 
I know that AACOMAS said that they would send out the first batch on the 15th, but I think I've heard rumors that this date was being postponed to late june.. Does anyone know if this is true, or when they'll be sending out applications to medical schools?

The only way for you to confirm this, unfortunately, is to call them yourself.

I have to believe they will be pushing the date back. I've been verified for almost 2 weeks and MCAT results are not matched to my app yet. They need to get that fixed before apps are transmitted.

Yeah, speaking of the meat score issue. When I was on the phone with the AACOMAS rep, they stated that it won't be until the very end of June when they should receive official Mcat scores
 
Not sure if this was already discussed, but does the lack of transcript/s slow down the verification process even if they have been sent to AACOMAS and might be in the process of being verified/received?

Also for any applicants waiting on news for the FAP. They have ran out of all waivers.
 
Just filled out all the basic information for AACOMAS. I have a quick question, what's the difference between U.S. citizen and U.S. Permanent resident? I was confused about this. I was born in the U.S. and lived here my whole life, do I just put U.S. citizen?

Yes. Permanent resident is someone who came from another country and is a documented permanent resident.
 
I just confirmed with a DO in my hometown that I'm going to begin shadowing him starting next week. Should I put that in my experiences? I've never shadowed a DO before, and I know it's a very big boost to shadow one, but technically I haven't started yet.

I ask because I'm ready to submit my application, and my transcripts are starting to be sent so I want to submit early...Is it ok to leave that out of the primary and then talk about it for the secondaries?
 
Can anyone offer a "life-hack" to sitting down and getting the writing of their Experience entries and Personal Statement DONE??
 
Anyone else been having issues with professional transcript entry? I've emailed them and it has been past 48 hours and still no response from them. They've also did not input a class for a particular semester so its withholding me from filling out my prerequisites. I've also called them and they said they would work on it but still no results.
 
so when will our applications be available for schools? Is it June 15th or the end of the june?

This whole process is way more trouble than it's worth. Done perfectly it only saves you a maximum of 15-20 minutes, and that is almost never the case.
 
For people who are verified and are able to see their whole application, does your personal statement look weird like mine? Every line is indented by a couple of spaces except the first sentence of every paragraph =\ it looks weird

The library, facing a wall, no cell phone, no pretty girls, no access to social media, and a cup of caffeine.



Question: I met with a pre-health advisor and was told to UPDATE all of my LORs to the current year, 2015. Is is step really necessary? I feel like it's not, but I could be wrong. My oldest LOR goes back to 2013.

Yes, just try being consistent. If you use bullet points, use them for all experiences.

I cannot seem to get a clear answer for this. After submitting AACOMAS, can more evaluations be added and requested through AACOMAS, or do all requests need to be made prior to submitting.
 
How do we know if AACOMAS has received our MCAT score and attached it to our app? I never received any notification yet of this happening and I had my MCAT sent probably 4 weeks ago
 
So i'm having some trouble with the application....its not letting me delete a semester from the information section as well as not letting me choose "In progress" for one of the semester. Why is this?
 
Do you guys have any advice on how to enter extracurricular activities? such as sports and things beside volunteering besides work experience. The sections that are required seem to be very illogical.
 
Did any of you use that transcript offer AACOMAS has? The one that offers to submit your grades once they receive your official transcripts?

I was thinking of doing it manually.
 
I also have one more question. It says finalize your transcripts once you enter all your coursework. Can I still edit them after I "finalize my transcripts"?

I'm sending in my official transcripts sometime in the next 10 days or so, AACOMAS has not received it yet.
 
So I FINALLY got a couple DOs to let me shadow, one said he'd be okay with writing a letter afterwards. Should I wait until I've shadowed a DO to submit or should I submit now? All my transcripts and everything is in, I'm just waiting on shadowing stuff since I have exactly ZERO hours DO shadowing. :\

I have the same thing going on. I sent my MCAT score in 4 weeks ago and it still says unofficial scores on my PDF versions. Im going to call monday but it sounds like this is happening to more than just us

Same exact with me. Still no word, states only unofficial have been recorded...
 
How do we add upcoming courses? Do we add them in our normal transcript entry section, and if so, what do we put for grades since we wouldn't have any yet?

Edit: Figured it out. Seems weird though that we can't enter credit hours for planned/in progress classes.
 
Well this sucks. Turns out it was my fault I did not enter 0 credit hours for first attempts, so none of my retakes counted. went from 3.88/3.84 to 3.65/3.49 with MCAT of 29. Are my chances significantly lower now? I feel I'm still above most acceptance averages in all 3 categories.

AACOMAS said individual schools might recalculate my GPA if I ask them...any experience with that folks?
