Depends. I wouldn't put down temporary, as that's usually associated with someone filling in the place of someone else at a full time job. If you volunteered everyday, say from 9-5 then it would be full time. If you volunteered maybe 3 days per week it would be part time. Thanks, also what do you out down for volunteer, part time, temporary, I'm confused about that part lol

LOL yeah they really aren't giving a whole lot of options here but I'd say part time.lol how about once a week for 4 years lol. i guess that is part time. i usually associated full and part time with employment so aacomas is throwing me off there but ill give them a call tomorrow just to double check what they prefer!
Thanks for your service on this memorial day weekend m8! Good luck to you this cycle. No kidding. Try during a deployment to Afghanistan! Just remember that everyone gets 600, so no one is writing a novel on their experiences.
If your app is fully ready now, go ahead and submit asap. It'll give you time for your app to be verified before schools begin receiving apps on June 14th. BUT, if you need a little more time to hammer out the details, submitting June 15th is perfectly fine and still considered early for the AACOMAS cycle.would I be considered earlier if I submit my application now than jun 15 or it wouldnt make a difference?
For shadowing hours, do you list separate experiences with separate doctors, or combine them altogether?
I list separate experiences though. Cause they are from 3 different sources, and we are required to input contact of each source.
AACOMAS lists contact as optional. I listed the five doctors I shadowed under the description and they all were employed by the same hospital too. You think that will be appropriate?
Applied for a fee waiver on 5/27, transcripts were received on 5/17. During this time, I could not submit because my fee waiver was still being approved and all the boxes were grayed out. I then was approved today 6/1 and submitted my app today. 15 schools cost me $480.
Yeah, I just wrote this because someone in this thread was wondering why their boxes may have been grayed out. That sounds relatively worth it then. I applied to 10 schools and it cost me $445 without the fee waiver.

The first three schools are free to apply to, the rest are $40 for the primary. I also heard many schools may reduce or waive secondary fees as well, which is also major savings.how much does the fee waiver reduce your application costs? and how do you know if you qualify for fee waiver?
anyone else's AACOMAS portal lagging like crazy?
I had 15, I just kept them the exact same as my AMCAS. 2 of the 15 were honors/scholarships and 13 were activities, volunteering and jobs. How many experiences have people put down? I put down about 12. I know quality over quantity but I was just curious... This is the last part for me before I submit and I want to ensure that it shines.
Also has anybody who has vague public health courses who were verified by aacomas get such courses included into their sGPA?

Yes, 15 is max for amcas.15 is the max for AMCAS, I did not know that? And yeah I would also have 15 because of 3 "achievements" I listed.
That's odd, I submitted after you! The guy I spoke with said it's only taking a week right now. You should call and assure nothing is wrong.Submitted on 5/17, still not verified. Starting to get annoyed here...
I am planning on submitting my application around June 9, 2016. AACOMAS already have my transcripts and all my LOR are in Interfolio. Is this too late to apply since the application has been open for about a month now.
Definitely no.
I have a question regarding course entry. My Bio 2 lab was actually called Animal Diversity Lab on my transcript. Should I enter it as bio 2 or as animal diversity? Thanks y'all
I'm a reapplicant and I just found out that the letters of recommendations on my application are removed from last cycle. I just emailed all my profs to resubmit their letters, but should I submit my application just as it is without any letters of recommendations? if so should I only apply to one school then add other schools when I receive the letters of recommendations?Your transcripts can only be verified after you submit. Maybe all of your sections aren't completely filled and that's why it's still gray?
are you guys submitting your LOR to AACOMAS before or after your get verified?

I would suggest submitting a single school if you are not confident in your professor's timeliness.I'm a reapplicant and I just found out that the letters of recommendations on my application are removed from last cycle. what difference does it make?
