Seems I should utilize Google before asking questions.
Nothing to see here...move along folks.

Wonder how far they'll get before this weekend...

estradiol, you are the luckiest person on the planet.
Hands down.
Exactly how does that happen???
Btw, does anyone know how long it usually takes between "under review" and verified ??
that seems kinda excessive. i didn't look through all the submissions above but when did you submit/when did they get your transcript? was there something really unusual about your coursework or anything?
It took under an hour for mine this morning, with four transcripts to go through.
they're still on June 13....this isn't getting any better.
According to the above, someone from June 15th got verified already.
Since no one has replied to my thread, I'll post in this one:
I couldn't find a thread on this specific example when searching, sorry if these topics have been touched upon numerous time already.
Long story short: I submitted my AMCAS yesterday, and realized I didn't enter my high school college credits (AP credits or SUPA (Syracuse University Project Advanced)). I also realized that I may have made a mistake when picking, and writing about my most meaningful experiences.
Question 1 - Is it safe to assume that when they receive my transcripts the AMCAS administrators will add to/edit the course information themselves?
Question 2 - My work activities section is extremely diverse but, since I thought that the most meaningful experiences were supposed to be the most meaningful in influencing my drive to become a doctor, I chose three medical-field related activities. Had I known that it didn't have to be medicine-related, I probably would have picked being a camp counselor, and my first real job (where I worked for four years) as my most meaningful experiences, alongside one of the shadowing experiences. SO my question is, although I didn't display versatility across my three most meaningful experiences, will that be overlooked when they see the rest of my work/activity experiences? Also, is it going to be possible for me to make any changes to my work/activities section, so I can get to the problem before the application is reviewed by the schools I applied to?
As it stands, I don't think it's the end of the world, since I did a good job describing my would-be my most meaningful experiences in the typical 700 word description box, but I figured you all would be able to shed some light on my situation for me.
I'm new to this board, and to the application process as a whole, so be easy on me.

I meant from the amcas website, they're still on june 13 officially. I hoped they would cover a day every day but there were a lot more 14 people verified on Thursday than 15 people on Friday.
i hope you are right! i called and they said that they have a lot of applications and that it could take up to 6 weeks to be verified
That's pretty much just their "line" though. It says everywhere it could take up to 6 weeks, so that's the answer they give. It may or may not be a reflection of if it will actually be that long.
Submitted the 22nd and I'm really worried I won't get verified until August......
To you and anyone else worrying, you guys do realize they are still verifying apps pretty much IN ORDER of when you sent them in, right? So even if your app doesn't get verified till August, guess what? It will still (most likely) be verified before someone who submitted on the 23rd and later.
So yeah it sucks that it's taking longer than usual, but there's no reason to "worry" because your app will still get verified in the order you turned it in (99% of the time unless you have some weird stuff in your app)

eh, it also means there are a lotttt of people ahead of you, making what was "early" last year a little less "early" this year unfortunately for most

Also, someone like me who took the MCAT on June 21 was looking at past verification times and was hoping that me submitting around the end of June/beginning of July (which I did) would put me in good position to have my app verified a little before MCAT scores released. Now, if my app isn't verified until August, I'll think 'well, then ****, why didn't I just take the MCAT in July then? Give myself more studying time.'...
Lol, this was actually my exact thought after I posted that. The whole reason I switched from 7/6 to 6/21 was to have my mcat score come out at the same time my app got verified. Now if my verification doesn't come out til August 6th, then I'm going to be pretty f'n mad lol.
But as far as "batches" go, does anyone really know the exact method that amcas uses to distribute your apps to schools?
I was verified on 7/2 at 5:12 PM. I changed my post but its not showing on all the subsequent posts.
No one submitted 6/16, right?
Doesn't seem like they got far into 6/15 today though, usually it floods up once everyone off of work.
Sooo close, yet sooo far away...
