Ive been having rotten luck since the appearance of the good luck threads. we must turn this around, if only for me and me alone.

Im holding out for tons of rejections this week.....harvard we both know its coming, lets just get it done on tuesday, yeah?

northwestern, havent heard anything from you since august, want to settle this up with a big fat R for me this week? that would be great.

I don't think that I can wish anyone, including myself, bad luck, but I haven't got jack since the good luck threads appeared. So, I'll just emote...

So let's get it out. Stanford . . . we all know you want to send me a rejection, so please put me out of my misery. UCSF . . . while it was great that you gave a me a secondary, it's clear that nothing is going to come of it. Why waste the filing space? UCSD and UCLA . . . not even a secondary, so just reject me for cryin' out loud!

I still have hope for the other schools, so I can't post them on this thread!

Why the reference to Harvard rejections on Tuesday? Are these mugs starting to send out rejections, or do they wait till March like most of the Ivies?

I'm probably the only person on this forum who still has not received ONE interview invite. How depressing... Maybe the bad luck thread will turn that around. 🙂

Oh no you don't!! I have ZERO interview invites, so you are most certainly not alone. 😀 Luckily I still don't have any post-secondary rejections (all pre-secondary), so at least maybe they're looking at my qualifications (beyond the MCAT). That's my only hope.

you are not alone i still have heard nothing from all 24 schools (4 D.O 20 allo) !! I have been on hold at one place but thats it!! this sucks its obvious that most of these places we are on unofficial on-hold status but why dont they just tell us that or reject us? keep the faith guys i am even if there may not be anything to hold onto. Believe me I am the poster child of suffering applicants.No news may still be considered good news for now.

you are not alone i still have heard nothing from all 24 schools (4 D.O 20 allo) !! I have been on hold at one place but thats it!! this sucks its obvious that most of these places we are on unofficial on-hold status but why dont they just tell us that or reject us? keep the faith guys i am even if there may not be anything to hold onto. Believe me I am the poster child of suffering applicants.No news may still be considered good news for now.

I might chaallenge you for that poster spot. I applied to 12 schools and have 0 invites!!!! Not even NJ state schools are giving me any news. 🙁

because i posted on monday?

i feel this thread needs to be more mean spirited, to contrast the general feelings of goodwill toward others in the good luck thread.

i hope none of you get interviews! and those of you that have had interviews or have some coming up...i hope they go poorly, or, all those things you recall saying that you think sounded stupid to that interviewer and regretted after and fret about obsessively ("if i could be any organ id want to be the thymus!? what the **** was i thinking!?!") as you worry when that school will get back to you, i hope your interviewer thought it sounded as stupid as you do. also i hope that my 5 week medschool news blackout extends well into next year.
