A second year from SA called me last night to see if I had received a letter in the mail yet....I'm like WTF!!! WHAT DO YOU KNOW???!!!😱 😱 😱

Ends up nothin.

They should be sending out letters today, so we might get letters tomorrow or Monday.

A match list does get posted at the schools...so it might be up late in the afternoon...she said she'd go check after her test today. She also said that we should start checkin as they tend to go up early on the website.

I'm so excited!!! Believe it playa!

You will all do great, I am sure....I am looking forward to seeing where everyone matches! I don't really remember being this nervous when I matched but you also couldn't check status online and such. Back in the day, we had to just wait for our letters........ 😛

Okay, now, in addition to a countdown, people should check their status page and report back whether it's up or not! How early did she mean?

my bad my Texas SDNizzles....i've been snoozin on tha job, after all tha shizzle that went down last night in downtown Htizzle...like i said earlier, it was off da hizzle for shizzle my SDNizzles...hard to believe we're almost there....

How do you know its not up?
She said over in the student services area where you get your financial aid is where an actual list goes up. Not on the internet because of confidentiality blah, blah.

The registrar posts a list once the match list has gone up of all the students accepted. I imagine since the match list doesn't go up until saturday and the registrar isn't around on the weekends, it won't be up until monday.

Its posted in the registrars office at the school so that the students etc can see who the incoming students are. It is also updated weekly or so as people drop out and waitlisted students get accepted.

Probably the list goes up Monday, just in case, she was going to see if they have it today after her test at 1pm.

Yeah...its not drastically important, however now is the best time to do it because there is more money available in the beginning and less headaches down the line. We could have applied at the beginning of the year, but I was advised to wait till the end of this month so the FAFSA computer bugs would work themselves out on its first victims who already have applied. Apparently its a first come first serve with some of the grant monies.
 
I'm waiting for all my W-2s before I do my FAFSA. I do that and my taxes at the same time.

Thanks for clearing that up, STAC. So are we back to checking at 12:01am?

I'lll be probably start checking around 9pm or so checking periodically. I'll probably go on a SDN a couple of times tomorrow to see if anyone knows any scoop.

Hey there spumoni! I am afraid my anesthesia rotation is keeping me really busy. 🙄 LOL... I have been drowning in my research project because I am so bored. So now I am torturing the SDN with my presence. 🙂

hmm....just came back from a night of drinking away all this anxiety and wait.......and now I CANT SLEEP!! urg, I can't wait to find out. we have about 21 more hours. oh my god, I can't believe we are finally here after waiting for this long. I wish there was some strong sleeping pill around so I could sleep straight till tommorow night!!?? Anyone here like me having problem dozing off.
 
Oh yea and forgot to wish you all again the best of luck !! I am so anxious. Since I don't have a great MCAT score (my GPA is high but my MCAT SUX) I am actually freaking out. I keep worrying that I am not going to get in. Anyone here that has low stats w/ 2 or more interviews that is freaking out like me!?? I think I am going to go psycho and keep babbling my mouth for now. I feel so anxious!! All this wait *sigh* +pity+

Seabizzle, there's about 3 different stages with music/bands going on. I think there's bout a 20dollar cover to get near the stage area for these...by primetime midnight it was definitely this playa chillin with 100,000 people from all around tha world....i've never EVER seen that many people in downtown H-tizzle....reminded me somewhat of Mardi gras....there's some bars/clubs with 20dollar cover which is the lowest i saw all last night...but tha ones off da hook (Mbar, Suede, Mercury Room) were all in the multiple hundreds to get in....

back to business my Texas SDNizzles...let tha countdown contizzle...fo shizzle...less than 14 hrs...believe tha playas😎

I am getting so freaking nervous. A couple years ago I think stuff filtered in from snail mail before the actual match. Has this happened to anyone lately?
