Couples of days ago, JustR had weird repeated posting over and over. I am new on SDN, but I heard trolling is a bad thing on SDN. Is JustR banned for trolling? what is trolling anyway?

i'm trying to finish all of them today. I'm afraid if I don't get the score I want I may become apathetic and take longer to finish them.

We're all gonna make it. Even those of us who have taken it three times. You can take it a fourth time, fifth time etc. as long as you send AMCAS a copy of a rejection letter so they know you are applying to med school and not working for Kaplan etc. There's always room for more improvement, and we are all capable of making that magic 30.

This was my third time. I'm really nervous to see my scores. That being said, there's a part of me that really wants to see them, because if I improve I'm going to be the happiest girl on the planet.

There's just that fear, of going down, or staying the same. It's a possibility, but I hope that it doesn't happen this time around.

Can't wait for Thursday night! :scared:

So, what time on thursday can i actually check. I've been hearing things like midnight and 10 PM. Is that for the different time zones. Anyways, I'm checking on the east coast. Soooo nervous.... I hope everybody gets the score they want.

um....i am going to be @ a party thurs night. my goal is to not be a nerd and excuse myself at precisely 10, and find the nearest internet cafe, to possibly see my score. i hate the concept that capability can be measured by whether or not you're good at solving problems about machines that measure vibrations in sand dunes.

even if there is some validity to it.

regarding iq tests, sat's, mcats , etc: sure they have a bit to do with intelligence, but i think they have far more to do with your precise and specific state of mind exactly when you are taking them.

that being said, i still hope everyone scores above 9 on the sections they think they bombed, and above 12 on the sections they thought they did great on. :luck: :luck: :luck: :luck: :luck: :luck: :luck:

Any signs when MCAT scores would mail though? 😕 😕 I know scores are coming online on 13th, but when do the post mail really comes in the mailbox slow like a snail mail? Does anyone know?
Please, don’t reveal anger upon me for asking stupid quetions because I get cranky and I could reflect back the anger in tenth of a second. :laugh: :laugh: Just kidding, Does anyone know how long it takes for the scores to come in the mail?

I am getting nervous about score waiting, just waiting for the MCAT scores!!!
Yeah!! How many days left till I figure out what the whole MCAT fuzz will take me somewhere in a med school to get me completely MAD????? :laugh: :laugh:

Ditto! If I suddenly get depressed about my score, I might be tempted not to finish them, or I'll write really sad essays, like "I would love the be a medical student at (sniff) (sniff) your school, OH GOD WHY!!!!!, due to the strong clinical training, ALL IS LOST . . . "
You get the picture. 😳

I did my own personal research, and found that JustR was a crazy poster about 30 posts per day even though JustR posted so many repetitive posts in one day. :laugh: :laugh:
Well, I can do that how many posts you want from me everyday on this thread to Hitting to 1000? Okay,,,, here I go!!! I will try to post more then 10 in a raw, let’s see if I can.

Don’t swell, be well DentalGal. I am sure you will do fine, just pray for the best. I know I am a psycho freak sometimes, but I had my medicine this morning, so I am in the good mood right now to go posting spree.

Kimka83, good luck with your secondaries while waiting for the scores. How many essays you have to write though? I hope not many left.

Start checking, you will find your scores in between 13th and 14th.

Those come to mind first, then the professionalism essay, and essay on a topic outside medicine, a few on my research, and Pritzker too.
So that makes 6 more secondaries. I saved the worst for last! So here's hoping that before Friday I can finish them all.

I was getting high scores on the practice tests, but I think I did badly on the real thing because
a)panic
b) BS section- didn't anyone else get the version that was 90% Organic questions? I'd studied biology pretty hard so I was getting 12s and 13s on the practice tests, but I did nothing to review for O-Chem. I'm going to kill those MCAT people...

I got a chain letter that said if I do not email 30 SDN members that took the August 2005 MCAT and wish them good look I will not get over a 34!!!
