This thread has grown ridiculous.

To all of you waiting on Oct 15th :luck: but don't think that that day is the end all and be all, there will be more opportunities, so avoid flipping out.
 
Hmmmm. I think there will be plenty of anxiety/stuff to talk about even after the 15th because of those schools that take their time in releasing decisions. I predict some brutal waits.

Exactly! I am going to try and have the guys over for some brewskis. I am curently making an entire 8-foot bar-top out of beer-bottle caps and am about 200 short. lol Sounds very frat-like, but damn its gonna look cool in my game room after they are all set in place and the trim is stained and finished. 😎

Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice. Yeah, I'm having a peripherally related to Halloween party tomorrow. It's just a pre-game for the upcoming week because I figure that if I get in we'll go to the pub, and if I don't, well, we'll also be going to the pub.

Excellent. Lets hope your celebrating an acceptance. You deserve to get in. I should take some pics of my game room and post on here, including my walls of beer (about 300 or so different kinds, mostly microbrews).

You wouldnt be referring to THE Pub would you? Because if so you are bringing back many a fond memories of my undergrad...... and a few not so fond.
 
Hey, just to help pass the waiting time, here is a pic of my work in progress ....

Not finished yet, but is gonna be a killer place to wait for acceptance/rejection notices this winter. 👍 You can see the bartop i'm working with on the pool table.

Yes, booze is on the house, I have enough to kill a small army i'm sure. But it is usually courtesy to contribute by bringing something ... a bottle, a 12 pack, some cigars, or some entertainment. We have been joking about trying to find a place to build a brass pole and stage, but may have to take over the next room for that (plus get it past my wife somehow ....)

Robizzle: no doubt you will be spending some time over here during study breaks when we get in next year. 👍

I AM referring to THE Pub. I'ma go back to the 'Burg on the weekend of the 21st to either party like it's 1999 or cry in my pillow back at my parents' house.

Hey! I have actually hung out there a number of nites when I swung into the Burg to visit friends. Love that place. Also love the Church Brewery, but thats a different type of scene.

Recently, Yes. Many thanks to my wife who has been taking more of the late night feedings. I'm trying to get back into a routine to start back to work. The first couple of weeks were very sleep deprived as you can imagine though. We just finished week 3.

I find it amusing that these pictures went up after the bar pics. Is that a reflection of which of your creations you are most proud of? 😀
