ditto man ditto! see my previous post. i think case totally went with rolling admissions. me and you have the same mail out date, but with your stats you should have gotten that interview maddddddddd long ago. seems like they're just going in order. (which is usually good)

Oops..forgot to include my GPA...which could be why they got to me later. Science 3.07, Overall 3.11, BCP 3.62 and I'm a non-traditional applicant. Had a 2.66 undergrad GPA but a 4.0 Post-Bacc GPA which brought it up to the 3.11 overall.

got ya, well see my other post, there is a 75% chance of acceptance post interview. one of the highest. 🙂

I'm not so sure. My mail-out date to have all materials in for Case Western was also the 26th. I was "complete" on the 29th and received the interview the day after. Managed to schedule for Dec 1.

If they went in order, that means they filled up Dec-April with only late-August applicants? I doubt it.

yes you could be right. guess there is no one system they use to pick applicants.

I'm staying at the colonial inn-it's like 7 (big) blocks away from the NYU interview building and only cost 150 a night.

When I was in CA (granted not DTLA) but $50 got me a king bed, in a super large room, with continental breakfast.

First time poster but wanted to say thanks to everyone for their posts; they've been super useful during this process so far. Apologies in advance if I don't use the right format:
GPA: 3.8
SGPA: 3.8
DAT: 23/23/23
Residence: MA
I've had good luck so far (feeling grateful) but know that a lot rests on
the interviews so can't relax!
Interview invites so far from: Case, NYU, BU, Tufts, Columbia, MUSC, New Jersey, UConn
Haven't heard from: UMich, Stonybrook, or U.Illinois Chicago
Anyone know if Michigan is still extending invites? Would love Ann Arbor...

When was your AADSAS app. mailed?
 
did people also received an "application complete" email from tufts aside from application received? I only received application received and i was missing the application fee. i wonder if i should shoot them an email.

I never got the email about the application fee either, just learned about it here. I'd contact them about it, but I wouldn't worry that it's holding up your app. I only got the fee squared away a week or so ago and got an interview invite this week. Good luck!

maybe they do that b/c they know that these applicants would reject them if they are accepted to other better schools?

i did the numbers, i dont know where you get 90% from. you can provide me your #s and we can compare. using doc's file the % was around 70s.

I think he or she is using the ADEA 2011 statistics.

Case Western Acceptance Statistics from ADEA 2011:

Interviews: Out of State-235 | In State-51
Acceptances: Out of State-210 | In State-43

Acceptance percentage: 88% (incl in and out of state)

nevermind, the data from doc's file is correct. it is 88% he has a In state Interview total and in the Out of State section he has Total Interviewed (instead of Out of state interviewed.)

thanks for pointing this out guys. and this also makes Tufts even a better choice. 84% chance of acceptance (post interview)
 
I am curious to know what Nova's interview/acceptance percentage is at.
According to the ADEA handbook, they accepted 110 students but that's not right because that's how many they enroll.
Accept =/= Enroll

Also doesn't say how many they interview.
