This is my second time applying and I have yet to receive interview invites. I sent in everything early September. Please give advice! 😕

same GPA same dat scores! 0 interviews, rereview for mid Jan at UOP...
 
Got rejections from Indiana, Ohio, Marquette, UMKC and Midwestern

and Still no interviews
 
UCSF: That's my question too! I got the confirmation email for the secondary application on October 19th! and nothing yet. When did you submit your secondary application?

i got confirmation on sept 27,and havnet hear back since. have you check your aadsas supplemnt material section? i don't know if it means anything but it said last updated was 11/04 for me, i wonder if it meant they looked over my apps on that date..
 
Mine is same. 11/04 ! what's your status? GPA: 3.5 (UC Berkeley) TS:23 AA:22 here

3.94 24/22/21 (QR sucked with 19...). I guess 11/04 means nothing then? Either that or they reviewed a batch of applications and send out invites in batches? i do remember there was 2-3 weeks in oct when they didnt send out any invites (at least on the SDN front) and then they sent out batches of invites in 2 weeks.
 
I believe so. We haven't got rejected yet 😛 I know few applicants who submitted their secondaries around our time and got rejected; so let's keep our hopes up! But this waiting game sucks!

How is your EC/research? Mine totally sucks so it probably hurts me alot despite my grades and DAT. I havnt gotten any interviews at all 🙁 and UoP is Re-review in mid Jan...

Dang! You have some really good stats. I submitted my supplemental in 8/12 and got the receipt on 9/20. I got the interview invite on 11/1 for early Jan. I'm sure more post Dec. 1 interviews will free up when predents start to reject offers from schools.:xf:

i saw your post last time, i think i asked you when you got confirmation too lol. I did everything exactly 7 days after you, and haven't hear back yet 🙁

Thanks! I submitted my secondary app on Aug. 8 and received a conformation e-mail on Sept. 16.

UCSF doesn't hesitate to send a rejection to applicants who they are not interested in (they actually said it during the interview, too). Therefore, if you haven't got a rejection yet, you still have a chance to hear good news from them. GL👍
 
So I recently checked AADSAS and my Columbia status is also 'test1', so I called the admissions office and they said it was because my file was under review. Unfortunately I got the impression that it means i'll be receiving a rejection on December 1 haha (although she never explicitly stated that). Hope that helps, if anyone else has any news regarding Columbia please share, it's my #1!
 
Do you know if they are done with January interviews? May I ask when is your interview?
 
Just got a January invite from Indiana University. That makes two interviews out of three, not too bad.

You are just assuming "test1" will eventaully give you a rejection right?
 
Got an interview from UPENN today! I just can't believe it... hadn't heard back from them since August and thought I was rejected for sure. I feel so blessed to have been offered interviews at my top 3 schools!

When did you get your application complte mail? And do you mind sharing your stats?

I got mine in Aug 23rd and still waiting from them...
 
I received the application complete mail on Aug. 25th.
My stats are:
25TS/24AA/22PAT
3.8sGPA/3.9GPA

Hope you hear from them soon! =)
 
Does penn only correspond to applicants via snail mail? Or are interview invites sent via email?

Schools: Creighton, UCLA, USC, Loma Linda (Planned), Midwestern AZ (Planned), NYU (withdrew)
Method of notification: Email
Residency:CA
AADSAS mail-out date: June
Application complete date: Sept
GPA (science, overall): 3.44/3.48
DAT: AA22/TS21/PAT26/RC28/QR16 hehe 2+2=5
Rejections: UCSF, ASDOH

Got a rejection from Harvard over the weekend.

What exactly gave you that impression?
 
So here's a helpful tip that I posted in another thread recently. I would check AADSAS on November 30th at 11:59pm and for the next couple of hours after that. Schools hand input status updates into the AADSAS system so if your acceptance doesn't appear right away, it doesn't hurt to wait a couple of hours.

Also for schools that send acceptances by snail mail: Some schools will mail out your acceptance a couple of days in advance (anticipating it to arrive on December 1st). But it actually arrives one or two days sooner. 😉

So if you really think about it, many of your acceptance letters are already circulating in the postal service system right now! :claps:

there are probably 31 days in November....
 
Tufts just changed to "Please check back Dec 1" starting to get very anxious.
 
Status changes leading up to December 1st are really meaningless. All the schools are doing is clearing the statuses so they can be updated on acceptance day. Everyone can go back to freaking out now.
