Hi.. I'm an international student but I've completed my bachelors in US and working as a nurse since 3 yrs. My DAT scores are AA/TS/PAT/RC 19/20/19/18. I have applied to 17 schools and haven't heard anything from them so far. I'm stressed.. is anyone in the same boat as me??

Does anyone know when rejection letters go out? Most of my schools are "received/under review" or "received/application complete" but I'm afraid they will just stay that way until Dec 1 then just say rejected. Because I haven't heard back from Maryland or VCU or Case and there are so many people on here that have

Disagree completely. There are so many cases where people get interviews after 2 to 3 months.

Well my application was complete on like july 1 for like all the schools, I was first batch. I contacted Maryland and they said I'm still "under review" and my DAT 19 and GPA is 3.5 so I do not know why I haven't heard back from VCU/Maryland/Case.

I received 1 interview last round (last round I had a lower DAT and no real dental volunteer experience except for that of shadowing) and I felt very confident that I would get in but was ultimately denied and it almost killed me. I picked myself up off the floor, re-took my DAT, gained positions as a dental assistant, wrote a better personal statement, gained another 40 hours of shadowing, and have networked my butt off. Last year I applied to 17 schools and this year I applied to 7.

I just don't get it. I am 5th batch btw.

no, born in the U.S. but I have 2 years of international experience and speak several languages fluently. I applied to 17 last time and 7 this time.

Disagree completely. There are so many cases where people get interviews after 2 to 3 months.

Yeah I declined two that I knew I couldn't see myself going to for four years. Plus dat broke bank account too 🙁

Yes, it was really hard to do, but I declined 2 that after researching further, I just couldn't see myself going to.

Western University is a private medical school in Pomona, California. Include the city in your search and you will find it.
