I'm wondering this too. They've declined so many competitive applicants already... They're definitely looking for something other than stats

Thanks, I appreciate it. I think I had a really well put together PS, definitely spent some time on it and tried to tell my story. I've done 100+ hrs of volunteer chairside assisting with a pre-dental society at another UC. Started my own organization and held several positions in others on campus. Plenty of community service as well as working throughout undergrad. I've seen your posts frequently and you seem like decent, funny guy. I really hope the best for you, if I had any secrets or explanations I'd definitely share. But I got nothing. Haha. Dumb luck, miracle, bribery; take your pick.

Back in August Lecom and buffalo both said via email theyre putting my app on hold and will review it again in 60-90 days. So Im assuming thats 2 rejections.

Didnt hear a peep from any schools at all in september. hmmm. Maybe October will be a more fortunate month for me. And Im also going to my second interview in a few weeks. I only need 1 yes....

Such a slow month September has become, at least "slower" than I expected. One thing I heard from the USC admission office is that they have no plans as of now to send any additional invites to applicants. They certainly will send out more in the future but it is after they made decisions on the students who they have already interviewed in September and October. I don't know if this is the trend other schools are following right now. 🙁

Hey man, I was in the same situation with Lecom, but the matter was straightened out. As for Buffalo, the school was kinda slow to process my application, I submitted everything by July 26th, and did not hear anything from them until last week. It was a continue reviewing email. I was depressed again. I guess I will give them a call to find out why. These continue reviewing messages are tough to handle..🙁 but it is what it is. I heard that for some guys, things turn around and they got interview later. But it is what it is.....for the rest of the 15 schools I applied to, not a single peep 🙁...so you are not alone in this man. Hang tight
