2nd interview invite. I called and they said theyre starting interviews as early as august 12. Im not sure if Im ready and should get it over with right away or to prepare more and do it in September. Im going to think about this tonight.

Congrats!! Did you have the same DAT score last cycle? Why do you think you got zero invites?

I retook the DAT and increased my gen chem and orgo scores from a 15 and 16 to a 20 and a 21, did some different dental extra curricular things and wrote a MUCH better ps.
 
So I just called MWU-AZ and she confirmed the glitch in the system and also stated that NO interview invites have been given out yet and they are still in the process of reviewing...

I got an e-mail, scheduled my interview, and got a confirmation for my set up time this morning @ MWU so...? haven't heard anything back saying it was a glitch.

Just so you know that I am not messing with you:

"Thank you for scheduling an interview at the College of Dental Medicine at Midwestern University on Tuesday, September 10, 2013. Please plan to meet in the Office of Admissions in the Barrel 1 building at 7:45 am that morning. The interview day will last until approximately 2:30 pm and will include a continental breakfast as well as lunch in the Stagecoach Dining Hall. If you have questions or need additional information, please contact the Office of Admissions at 888-247-9277."

I will contact them and let you know what I hear, but as far as I can tell they sent some out because the links and everything worked fine.

So strange. None of my letters are uploaded. I also called them yesterday and was told the same thing about a computer glitch causing a delay in linking the letters...i didn't ask about interviews though. I wonder why they would say no interview invites have been given...probably a misinformed receptionist?

Congrats! I wish they would get this computer glitch problem sorted out already. I'm 2nd batch as well and the portal still says none of my letters have been uploaded.

Maybe this glitch is just a clever way of rejecting us without the trouble of reviewing our apps lol 😉

But seriously. I applied early for a reason. Why the heck cant they get my letters already.

My MWU AZ portal actually says I am missing science professor/committee letter, but then lists letters from two different science professors underneath that. I emailed them about it and they said to call, but then I got an email from them saying everything was complete and under review.

this is exactly what it says on my portal as well.
 
Well I haven't received any email that says my app is under review so that makes me think they just haven't gotten to it yet...

The portal says that I am still missing a science professor LOE, however, it is in and I got an interview notification 07/31/13 despite the misinformed portal. I wouldn't worry too much about it. From what I read on last year's posts they sent out interviews regularly through out all of Aug. Also, I could only schedule an interview in Sept with my link, so I assume that they are hinging on to a bunch of empty Oct interview slots.

Ya I didn't really think about that! Florida schools are on top of their game for giving out interviews so far it seems. I haven't heard anything from my Texas schools yet, and those applications were received on July 12th, 15th, and 18th. Also applied to Columbia and Midwestern-AZ (just sent in my secondary for Midwestern yesterday).
