Does anyone recommend calling schools to find out status? Because I have 3 silent schools, no AADSAS update, no letter in the mail, no email.
Go ahead and call. I just called Michigan and they told me all first round acceptances were notified yesterday. I'm on the backup/waiting list for now. More acceptances will come the early part of January
Other people have gotten accepted to SIU as well- I did and I know others have as well they probably just have not posted on here.
Just saw my AADSAS update -- accepted at Loma Linda University! I called them yesterday after I hadn't heard from them and I was told they would be calling students yesterday so i thought I was not accepted. To my surprise it says "offer made" on my status! Patience, all, patience. You never know what can happen 🙂

I got into NYU and Tufts, not sure where I will put my deposit down.. and I have a few more interviews to attend... So idk yet. How about you?

OMG same for me. It said "invited for interview" yesterday and now it says "offer made"!! Doe this mean I got into the school?? Feels like I am dreaming right now 🙂))

I agree... I got a 20k renewable from one school and another generous scholarship offer from a second school that would bring me down to instate tuition costs there. 🙂

Hang in there. Looking at the UDM 2019 thread, doesn't seem like Michigan residents were called yet. They do accept more in-staters than OOSaters.

Well, out of state tuition at Michigan is 48k. So I will owe 18k in tuition each year. I'm guessing I'll graduate with 150,000 in debt. I feel very fortunate. It's honestly surreal.

When did you hear from Baylor??
did the school notify you on the phone or by email to about the scholarship? I missed the phonecall from them and it didn't say anything about that in my acceptance letter
It was mentioned in my phone call and a separate email was sent detailing the scholarship.
I found out yesterday (december 1st) at like 1:22 am eastern time via email
I will be cancelling my two interviews at LECOM and Nova! hope this help some people! good luck to everyone! Dont lose hope!

I've been lurking since the summer figured I should finally start participating. I am super psyched to say that I was accepted into Pitt and Tufts and I have an upcoming interview at NYU next week! Thanks to everyone for sharing your stories so far it's been inspiring to read about your journeys. Congrats to those who got into school this week! There's still a lot of interviews and acceptances to come so to those who are still waiting on good news, keep the faith!

Sorry did you say 48k a year? So 200k for 4 years? Or did you mean a semester?

And 8 other schools with no news whatsoever. No interviews, no status updates, none. It feels like this is gonna be a lengthy process that lasts through like, Feb/March??!!
