Rejection: UNLV 😢
Wahoo just joined the rejection train! I'm OOS and my sGPA sucks so that's what I get (called them and they said that it sucks haha). No word from any other schools, but I decided to email all of my contacts to put in the good word for me. Congrats to all the acceptances people! Now pick a school and throw me the scraps thx! :spam:
 
Is there an easy way to rescind applications after committing somewhere? I couldn't find anything on AADSAS. I guess I can email the schools?

Email schools or call, it's not very difficult. Plus you may open up an early spot for some of us 🙂

What about you? I also felt like my interview went well, although it was my very first.

Sorry about your luck 🙁 Don't give up hope yet.

I haven't heard much more than a peep from any of my schools, including UNE. Got a rejection from WVU, an email from Western saying my app is still with the admissions committee, and an email from CWRU asking if I am still available for a post-December interview. Oh and my LECOM portal status changed to "...have made a decision and will receive official mail within 30 days." That's the extent of my communication this week.

Yah. If you drop a class, fail a class, or fail to complete your degree if you stated that you would.
 
does anyone know when baylor will start giving out more acceptances?

Yes, schools normally wait to see how many deposits they get from the Dec 1 acceptances then they now roughly how much more they can hand out. They normally give them 1 month to respond so till Jan 1 then the committee meets again after that and decide. Thus the reason post Dec interviews are seen has lowering your chances is you are competing for less seats.
 
Can someone drop their spot at nova so I can get into my dream school? Plsssss. Im wait listed.

Wish I could get this spot but tickets are $450 from Seattle. May have to consider it though since my interview isn't until the first week of February

Have you tried looking on Allegiant air? They fly out of smaller airports and I think they have one in Bellingham.

Thanks for that! I found a RT fare for $255. Just called UNLV but they won't let me schedule the interview for this Friday since it's less than 72 hours before the interview start time.
 
I stayed quiet this cycle (my 3rd time) as to not jinx myself and spend too much time thinking/worrying but now I'll give a quick recap for the benefit of other re-applicants and whoever else is curious.

3 pre-Dec interviews: Roseman, Minnesota, NYU
1 post-Dec interview coming up in a few days: UNLV

No word from Minnesota yet, waitlisted at NYU and, finally, an acceptance from Roseman!

cGPA 3.33/ sciGPA 3.23 24AA/25TS/23PA

I may post a quick write up about having to apply 3 times and the progress I made each time.

Aw that sucks! Interviewing is so expensive so I am glad to try to help other applicants save $$. Good luck! I am sure more will cancel and you will be able to get an earlier date!
 
Hey! Anyone know when UAB or Louisville are sending out rejection letters and are they still interviewing?? And the form of notification for rejection??

i think we have a fair shot, seeing as they have already sent out a few rounds of rejections and we haven't gotten one yet. But for me personally, i'd decline the interview offer as i've gotten into my state school. Best of luck to you though if its your top choice 🙂

Put on hold by Tufts as well.

Denied by UK, UNLV, WVA, and UNE.

Put "on hold, not prepared to take official action at this time, or a decision has not been made to regarding an interview" by Tufts, BUF, OHSU, Western.

Interview with Loma Linda 1/26.

Denied by UK, UNLV, UNE, WVA, MOSDOH,

Same here... Out of state too. It's my top choice so I'm hoping something changes before I waste this deposit for UKCD. 🙁

did your letter say waitlist or alternate? i got a letter as well but it says alternate. I'm just wondering if there is a difference!
 
Sorry for the late post! Acceptances1-) BU 2-) NYU 3-) lecom 4-) UoLV 5-) Nova...... I'm between Nova and Louisville... I live in Miami ... Ahhhh I don't know what to do :whistle:

Does anyone know how to write out an acceptance letter to confirm your acceptance? Like a proper format or anything?

For all schools.... why do you think this process took so long? so you can make one template acceptance letter and just change around the school names once december 1st hits so you can guarantee a spot. Based on your acceptance letter accepting their acceptance letter, there is further review that is updated on AADSAS. Once they accept your acceptance letter accepting their acceptance letter, you are officially in dental school.

I've already sent mine.
