Out of curiosity, why didnt you apply to UMDNJ? Want to get out of Newark?
I am in the 3+4 program with UMDNJ, but I declined their offer because:
1) Not really liking Newark at all. It's great that it's near the city, but that's basically it.
2) If I'm going to be paying OOS tuition, I might as well pay a little more and go to a better school (UPenn, Columbia), or go to a much a cheaper school (TX schools)
3) I got a much better DAT and GPA than I expected I would get, and I do believe that turning down my admission will not be a waste
4) I will be completing my degree in 3 years, so I am eligible and not at a disadvantage to apply out of my program, so why not?
5) By applying to other schools, I automatically lose my guarantee of admission
🙁 so why apply to UMDNJ at this point, especially if they will view me as an OOS applicant?
yea i called in today and the receptionist actually told me that there were some spots in october that moved up but because of my schedule the earliest i could take was november 12th.
Awesome! Same day as me, though now that you mention there might be some openings in October, I will have to investigate!
