sure, i got the app recieved on august 24

to answer ur question...although my stats are decent, there are alot of people with higher stats, and ucsf is one of the most competitive schools. still pretty down over the rejection though, although i know i should be grateful for what i have right now

I do however have an interview to my top choice ( Loma Linda), so I'll try to remember that as I heal from the hurt of rejection haha

one more reason why I should stop letting pre-dents statistics get to me. So inaccurate....

the same reason that you dont have your social security # on predents

if you were relying on pre-dents since the beginning well sorry to break it to you but its not accurate to begin with...

Congrats! I am glad to hear they don't have their Pre-Dec. slots filled up yet. I am hoping to hear from them soon! 🙂

I actually called them yesterday to see what my status was, since I hadn't heard anything since my "app complete" email on July 24.... so i was wondering if they were missing something somehow. Anyways, she told me that my app was now under review by the chair members and not just the committee anymore... guess my app needed further review. I don't know if my phone call to them helped nudge it along, but i'm pretty stoked that it worked out and I got an interview the very next day! I'm quite happy cuz i'm now able to kill two birds with one stone and only fly down to AZ one time to do both MW and ASDOH within 2 days🙂 Good luck, i'm sure you'll hear something soon.

I called yesterday as well and they told me the same thing, about how it was moved on from the committee. I didnt get an interview today though but I hope mines coming as well. congrats to you though

lemmes guess. U are a jesuit? or come from jesuit school? or know someone from there or know someone in school.

creighton invite! They still have a good number of Pre-Dec interviews. They do like 4 days a week of interviews and the strange part is that it's only a 1-2 hour interview/tour. Seems like more of a formality but who knows.
 
invite to creighton also. will probably schedule post Dec 1st. Hope that opens up spots for you guys

Do they assign you a date or do you get a choice? Any insights as to how far they far for Pre-Dec interviews? 😕😕😕

Sure, AADSAS still says complete since 8/23, my mailing date was 7/2 they confirmed receipt of app on 7/19, I am supposed to email which Friday that I would like to come and they will email back to confirm. No idea how full because they haven't emailed me back.
 
Has anyone scheduled their interview for Creighton from today's invite?

Were they filling up really fast?

I hope I get the date that works best with my schedule... I wasn't able to call today because I had to clear my work schedule 🙁
 
Congrats on your columbia interview that is awsome. they just cashed my check after two and a half months today. My addsas has been complete since Aug 23rd as well and mailing date was July 9th. but they got my DAT scores mid august. trying to stay positive here lol.
keeping my fingers crossed. :scared:

creighton's spots seemed like they were filling pretty fast. I got the email at 7:30 this morning and called at 9:30. I asked for the 5th but it was already full and I took the last spot on the 12th.
Here's the end of the message:
"At the present time, we have openings on November 1, 2, 5, 8, 9, 12, 15, 16, 19, 22, 23, 29 and 30. The interviews are in the afternoon, except for some of the Tuesday dates where you have a choice to come in the morning or afternoon. These dates fill up fast, so consider all your choices before you call."

Also, my app has said received/under review since 7/30 and is still not updated.

CONGRATS!! 😀 This gives me some hope since our stats are similar haha.

Can I ask--when was your mailing date? When did you get an "application complete" email from Columbia?

interview to loma linda for the 12th of Oct and midwestern for 1/18.

question: do you guys think that it is detrimental that i had a misspelled word in one of my secondaries? ironically the word was "education."
 
So I'm totally sitting in a hotel 5 minutes from Nova Southeast campus, in Florida. First Interview tomorrow!!!! I am freaking out! :barf:

P.S. It is insanely humid here!
