Hi all... has anyone heard back from fordham? I saw that someone mentioned their counseling program has sent out invites.
Good luck on your interview, Psyched4Life!
Has anyone heard anything from Rutgers (PsyD) or Seton Hall (PhD)? They're my mystery schools right now.
Someone posted earlier about Teachers College, I applied to the Counseling Psych Ph.D program and just received about my third email from them saying they are reviewing my application. So I guess no progress on that yet, dunno if that helped anyone
From Baylor's Clinical Psych website:
" IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR APPLICANTS
APPLICANTS WHO WILL BE INVITED FOR AN INTERVIEW WILL RECEIVE AN E-MAIL INVITATION FROM OUR DEPARTMENT STARTING MONDAY, FEBRUARY 10TH. OUR INTERVIEW WEEKEND WILL BE MARCH 2, 3, OR 5TH. "
columbia tc (counseling psych phd) just sent me an email saying I was missing LOR and my writing sample, even though I sent in 3 (they only require 2) and I remember sending in my writing sample because I was pissed off at myself (and my school) for printing it double-sided instead of just one side. Anyway, that's the only thing i heard about today.
I called Fordham today and they said that they'd sent of some interview invites last week but would be sending more this week (to the Clinical PhD)...so maybe there's still hope... Someone mentioned though on this board that they called the admissions who was able to tell them if they were rejected, I didn't dare ask!
...with URI
Other than the 2 folks that posted that they had been called/e-mailed anyone else heard anything?
Broke down and called the Clinical Psychology Grad Admissions lady today, and she said that students with interviews were contacted via email and phone on Friday and that snail mail invites should arrive shortly. this puts me out of the running unless it was faulty intel, but thought I'd pass it along since I did speak to someone there. sigh.
They sent me an email a couple of weeks ago saying that I was missing my statement of purpose, which I definitely sent in...

I haven't heard a peep from George Washington's PhD program... I don't think anyone else has, either. There's still hope!Good Morning,
Ready for another wonderful week!! Good luck to those of you with interviews this week. I have my first on this Friday!!!
Has anyone heard anything from GWU or FDU (Ph.D) programs?
Thanks 🙂
I just got an email invite to Rutgers Psy D interview addressed to dear applicant from the department chair for interview on Feb 26
so does that mean there is still a chance to get an interview invite via snail mail? Why would they call some and use mail for others?

UWO interview day was feb 9th for clinical dept ...if ure in clinical could be ure sup is just doing it at a later date but u missed a good pizza party...Has you or anyone heard from Waterloo??? Would love to know its my top pickHas anyone heard from UWO? I had a phone interview last week with my POI, and was invited down to see my POI's lab and meet his graduate students (I'm going next week; I get to choose the day). However, the UWO clinical psych website says they have a clinical psych "Interview Day" during the second or third week of February, so I'm a little confused.
Has anyone heard anything about the Interview Day?
Got an invite from University of Memphis (clinical) by phone from my POI. Interview day is 3/2.
I recieved a wait list letter from DePaul's Ph.D. in Clinical Psych. program. The letter states that the school completed a "preliminary review of more than 290 application" of which I was highly rated but not in the top 10%. But rather than a rejection, the letter goes on to say that I am being placed on a wait list. What are the chances that of the people who are interviewed and then offered an acceptance that DePaul does not get enough people to accept their offers. In addition, not all of the interviewed applicants can and will get an offer but many are still fine apllicants who the school does not want to lose right away. Therefore, it would seem that DePaul will place some of those applicants on a wait list too. This means that they are even higher up than those waitlisted by a mere letter with no interview. Any ideas on what the purpose of this is? Also, has anyone ever heard of a waitlisted applicant moving off the wait list and onto the A-list?

I felt that the application did not give space to say a lot of things that I had wanted to say, so I crammed as much in as possible. After speaking with the program director, I got the impression that it was not appropriate to name professors. I was nervous about this, but I was also happy to have the space to say other things.
Any more word on whether invites were only for the dual program or for the general clinical program? I haven't received a rejection letter from them yet either, so I am still holding out hope. (I applied to the general program.) QUOTE]
Someone posted and said they received an invite for an interview to the dual program. The process of applying was a bit strange as I applied for both clinical and ws, but through the ws department. I called the contact for the ws program and asked her about interviews and she said they are conducted with the clinical interviews and that the clinical department handles them, which I believe means that any info about interviews for the dual program would also apply to the clinical (general) track. So, I hope that is helpful. Here's hoping that they just haven't contacted us yet!

I got an offer from Texas Tech. I'm so hot right now!!!
