Coming from your ID, I am assuming you are in a postbac program right now. Maybe that is why they are asking you to maintin 3.5 gpa.

So, did you get accepted? If you are, you just need to maintain it for few more months, then you are in!!!

Yes, I am a postbac student and I got accepted yesterday and was wondering if I could not take any class next semester...I emailed them now, though, but I don't know they still requires me to take more courses in spring, 2010...So,,,,anyone heard of anyone around you who did not fulfill their requirement and was rejected once...

why did you apply again if you were already a postbac student?
i thought post bac was like a year and maintain a certain gpa and you're certain a seat?
or did the acceptance letter said you are accepted as a postbac student?
 
Not all postbacs guarantee acceptance. I believe only the postbac from Temple guarantees seat.

Wow! We are from the same town, which means mine should have arrived today as well. I am at work now and I should be heading home soon. Hopefully, a big envelope awaits me in the mailbox 🙄

There was one person. And if you are in Canada, you (we) were supposed to receive the acceptance mail on Dec. 1st (if one is accepted).

If you still have not received anything yet, it is prob. either waitlist or rejection...=(

When was your interview, by the way ?

Damn still nothing here at NC from NYU. Hope they didn't wait a couple of days extra to mail rejections.

I think that person was me. The mail did come by UPS, so that's why it was so fast. I live in the Vancouver area, if that helps.

Looks like there isn't much sense of the states... I'm in Illinois and still no letter. Hope that isn't a bad sign....

Guess we'll find out today :scared: Don't worry though. A one day difference in postal mail could be caused by many things. Unless acceptances were mailed out Nov. 30 and wait lists/ rejections Dec. 1, which is possible. People received acceptances in the 5-7 day range last year though. We're only on day #4 here. They said 3-5 business days.

I'm in...package arrived yesterday in GA...got the scholarship, but most likely will turn it down...

Just got mine too. Seriously, they could have sent my letter with a little kid on a scooter and I would have gotten it faster. But no complaints here anymore 🙂. Good luck to everyone still waiting.

My interview was September 15th.
I guess they sent out an email to everyone who went to the interview..

I am so not kidding but I'm more towards South Florida so maybe more luck in the north?!

USPS does work on Fridays.. just didn't come along with anything from NYU!! But there's always tomorrow I suppose.. 😎 waiting and waiting and waiting...

so if we live in new jersey or new york and we haven't received a package..that's not good news is it? i live right across the bridge too and haven't received anything.

at this point i'm thinking the worst case scenario

Im in Gainesville and got it today! But I know ppl here that havent received anything! So hang in there! Is coming!
 
Came home today to an Acceptance to NYU college of dentistry! I'm from California, so it should be hitting west coast predents as of today.
 
I am in too!! I only wished that the living expense wasn't so high there.... Descion time!!
 
just got first acceptance from NYU, excited, live in NC
