The fact that you probably did not show this hateful attitude/ ignorance during your interview and got an acceptance kills me! I am still waiting on my phone call every day from my top choice (Roseman) and the fact that I am competing against somebody that questions the education quality actually disgusts me. If this is going to be your only acceptance, then you've got a lot bigger things to worry about... like if you're going to get the chance to become a dentist at all... orrr whats your back up life plan in August. Beggers can't be choosers honey. 🙂

I am basically in the same boat, I have tried to reach out via phone and its gone straight to voicemail lately and email it took about 1-2 weeks to respond. They're just busy and still interviewing, but they did tell me when I spoke to them early this month that they have denied people that have gotten interviews so the fight isn't over! I probably can assume that you're thinking like me, "I interviewed and they have sent acceptances already and I haven't gotten one. Now they are interviewing more and that means that its game over." I basically asked them that straight up and they said "NO" firmly, so good news! Let me know if you get a hold of somebody or hear anything!

Yeah, I ended up talking to Ms. Spittle and she said that my application was still under review. Oh and that they are still interviewing and offering interviews until end of Feburary. (Don't quote me on that but that's what I think I heard.)

I’m sorry but you actually sound like the begger.... The student has every right to question the curriculum of ANY school they get accepted too. They would be dumb for not asking these questions and doing their research. Everyone has to be polite and professional through the interview process, doesn’t necessarily mean they are fake. You find out things about the school in your interview day that you probably never knew. So it’s normal for opinions to change about a specific school.
 
Has anyone from the Jan. 19th interview heard anything yet?

For students who’ve been accepted: do you know where I can get the calendar or schedule for next year? Thank you. Or the 2018-19 student handbook?

CLEARLY, you have not been following the feed. I do agree with you that a student has the right to question the curriculum at any school, in a professional and productive manner. However, they don't have to lash out, be hateful, and heinously insult Rosemans curriculum: "half-ass," on a feed full of Rosemans future students. Lastly, I most certainly not a beggar for acceptance, I have gotten acceptances to schools and paid my deposit at one, but will gladly revoke that acceptance if accepted to Roseman. I do not see how I could be classified as a beggar when in fact I have other acceptances... have a blessed day.

It has to do with the how the curriculum is taught and how you would fit in which is explained at the interview. It’s really simple and nothing to stress about.

Ok great thanks! Do you mind letting me know how your interview was? One on one, group, was it laid back or more challenging questions etc?
 
Hi everyone! I just made an account but I have been following this thread the whole cycle because Roseman has always been my #1! However I interviewed on January 19th and haven't heard ANYTHING yet... I called the admissions office last Monday and they said my application status was still interview complete. Ms. Russell also said they had already sent out denials (I dont know if she meant in general or from my interview group) so that means I am still being considered. At the interview I remember being told we would hear in 1-2 weeks by some people and 2-3 weeks by others, but looking at past years it seems as if they sent acceptances out rather quickly (4-6 days after the interview). Should I start preparing a Letter of Continued Interest because I should assume I'm on the waitlist? Would it be too early to send one in the next couple weeks?
 
I am in the exact same place as you. Did they mention anything about sending letters of intent or anything at the interview?

No, I didn’t hear anything about sending letters. I just want to know if they have sent out their acceptances for our interview group or not so I know when to worry..

I’m also from the 1/19 interview and haven’t heard anything yet! I called the admissions office as well and they said my application status is “interview complete”. I’m honestly just praying that I get the call soon and not be wait-listed. I remember on interview day they said they rarely put people on the wait list!!

You can’t call someone a begger just because they question a school. No one should go to a school they don’t feel comfortable bout or feel they won’t get a challenging curriculum at... regardless if it’s their Only acceptance

Just curious, are these average stats for Roseman? Anyone with a higher DAT get interviews? It seems like everyone that gets in here has low DAT. Do they not weigh DAT so heavily?

I interviewed on October 13th and accepted on December 1 and these are my stats:
DAT: 23AA/23TS
GPA: 3.3

Maybe in my case, one compensated for the lack of the other. Good luck to those who interviewed! I heard from some of the current students that they got accepted few days after their interviews in January. So, there's hope!
 
As far as anyone knows, have there been any acceptances since December 1st?
 
Anyone know why they haven't given out any acceptances since Dec 1st?
 
I am curious to see when they are interviewing until some schools seem to take a really long time. It's like they keep you on the waiting hook FOREVER!
 
I also interviewed at the school on Jan 19th and I have not heard anything back yet! I really loved the curriculum at this school and it is one of my top choices.
 
January 19th interview group here also! Seems like the majority of current students that I spoke to heard within 3-4 weeks of their interview date. I sure am getting anxious waiting, but hopefully we all will hear something soon! It's good to know I'm not the only one on pins and needles.
 
Definitely on pins and needles..... but I am glad to know that there are still spots. Looks like there is interviews set up for Feb 23rd. Maybe that will be their last interview date and then acceptances will go out?

So I too interviewed on 1/29 and haven't heard anything official yet. That being said I have a friend who is in the D1 class at Roseman who emailed Alicia (the admissions coordinator), on 2/21, wondering about when they are going to be sending out more acceptances. She replied saying, "I'm hoping we'll be able to meet to accept more students next week or the week after. Unexpected things have come up so we have not been able to meet...Dr. Harman lets the applicants know they should expect to hear form us a couple of weeks after they interview and that has not been the case as of late". So there is still hope! Hope this helps guys!!!

Was anyone else upset that they didn't get asked about they previous job history? I felt like my work at the tilted kilt for all those years really set me apart from other students. Maybe I'm just over reacting though.

Invited for interview. Doing research to determine if I want to attend or not as I have already been accepted elsewhere.

They never gave a date in the email. I had to call them to schedule it, but since I turned it down I never got that information, sorry!

Sounds like a solid day for sure. Do they have any MMI’s or is it just the interview? Also, how many people were asking you questions?
