I have been accepted off of SLU's waitlist; the letter was dated 4/20/04. I hope this signals the beginning of some significant waitlist movement!

I would not risk it. Especially since after June 1 schools must inform others if they plan on accepting you. If you are accepted to school A and wrote an LOI to get off the waitlist and school B you wrote one too if school B calls school A (who thinks they have you for good because of the LOI -- as does school B) then you will probably be found out. It's not worth it and you might as well be honest...don't you think?Emeri Onwunwa said:Thank you Mr. Rosewater. Your response is greatly appreciated.

From the AAMC WEBSITE regarding acceptance procedures:http://www.aamc.org/students/applying/policies/recommendations.htm
Subsequent to June 1, a school of medicine seeking to admit an applicant already known to be accepted by another school for that entering class should advise that school of its intent. Because of the administrative problems involved in filling a place vacated just prior to the commencement of the academic year, schools should communicate fully with each other with respect to anticipated late roster changes in order to keep misunderstandings at a minimum.

~Are there any standard financial rules about tuition refunds, etc?
~Would I just be out the deposit/tuition money if I decided to switch schools after two weeks of class? If so, would that mess up financial aid at the school I'm waitlisted for?
~Is it even possible to withdraw after officially enrolling?
Thanks!!

I just sent a letter to the Dean of Admissions, and was wondering if I should call him to make sure he received my email because I have had mail delivery problems in the past.
