^ it's not though. I applied to 5 schools in the U.S.... nothing. It costs more for them to take an international student, so you'd have to top all the U.S. applicants first. Plus a lot of people applying there have M.A.'s already.
I should have applied to York.
Still nothing from those schools, it's really frustrating. I think I'm going to resort to emailing them now.
I dont know if that is necessarily true. I think you limit yourself only applying to Canadian schools if only by the fact that there are less of them in number than in the States. Also, the chance of finding a solid research match is smaller if you limit yourself to Canadian schools.
I applied to schools in both countries (Im Canadian) and was accepted to some in both and at the same time, rejected from some in both.
