question to students who've experienced PBL:

I would like to know what your opinions are about "problem based learning" as opposed to the traditional "professor lectures to student" methods? I believe USC has overhauled their curriculum to be completely PBL, and I think UPITT will incorporate a lot also. Is one better than the other, or does it just depend on the person? Which schools incorporate PBL into their curriculums? I think this would be a big factor in determining where I go for dental school. thanks.

Did you find out anything about PBL? Had an interview at USC, and still a bit confused. Let's chat. You can also email me at [email protected]

Thanks!

Indiana also does PBL but only partly and seems like their board scores have gone up considerably. I don't think though that I would like the PBL because I'm used to the traditional learning, but that's just me.
