I've been waitlisted for about a month now. It seems like they still have a lot of open seats for this upcoming class (according to the fb page) and everyone I have talked to from the post dec round of interviewing was waitlisted- seems odd.

Also, I was wondering if anyone knew if OHSU has another preview day coming up soon? Do they do one in the spring?

No (speaking for myself!) and admissions has not been sharing that info historically. Idk if the number on the Facebook page would be an accurate representation.

I would say no, the Facebook page wouldn’t be accurate. There’s a lot of students from other classes posting about housing, not everyone is class of ‘28

The program stated that acceptances would be offered through mid-August, but I imagine the class will be close to, if not completely finalized by their orientation on August 12th. Anyone else committed to another program or holding out hope for an offer, and starting to wonder how much longer to wait before committing to alternative plans? Not that it reflects reality, but this thread has been largely inactive for almost 3 months, which seems unique compared to other schools.

there are (rare) instances where people do not show up to orientation or even drop out in the first few days of school
but it should not be counted upon...
