It seems like the majority of the questions on the pcat are from general chem. Ive takin several tests from the barrons , arco books and little orgo is found on it. Ive been using a kaplan mcat book for studying and am wondering how in depth should i study the orgo? Should i just learn the basics (alkene, alkyne) or go further than that? (spectroscopy, complicated mechanisms) , thanks

The PCAT is almost all gen chem. The few organic questions are very basic in nature. When I took the test, I had only 8 weeks of organic I and could answer them all. I don't remember any of the exact questions, though.

The type of Orgo questions you will get is like "Whats an Alkyne?" Or "How many Carbons does Propane have" Easy easy stuff!
