I had an interview this year where I got up at 4 to drive there and got a flat tire as I was pulling into the parking lot of the school. So the night before is probably a good idea.

Boy, every year waitlists get tougher and tougher to handle. I can only hope that there's some movement in December! Probably not, but it'd be nice!

Hope you all enjoyed your visit and best of luck! I was playing pool when you all came through but Arvin wouldn't be quiet long enough for me to say much.

You should've! Arvin was a funny guy. The whole experience was not the nightmare I had envisioned, surprisingly (almost awkwardly) relaxing and inviting.

They said we'd hear back within 2 week. It's going to be a long 2 weeks!:luck::xf:
 
To those that interviewed with me the last round, just updating you all to let you know that I was waitlisted.

I called and was told that my science class were too old.

But fortunately OU didn't think the same and I was accepted yesterday. See you at OU, if any of you guys are visiting both threads.

I enjoyed everyone I met there and good luck to everyone else. It is time for me to check out of this thread.

Congrats man. I figure with your IS status and background there must have been something random that got you waitlisted.

I too called the school, they basically said there was nothing more I could do to improve my application. The class has already hit their OOS quota and those that are OOS on the waitlist it is simply just a waiting game.
 
I figured the OOS would be hit quickly based on the OOS applicants I had met and had been accepted. I think there will be some movement on Jan for OOS because theres a few people I directly know that are holding multiple acceptances and will be releasing there spot soon.

They'll probably let you know by next friday if you were accepted. That's how long it took them to tell me.

see as to how school ends a week from today and a few of the teachers who I know for a fact that are one the board will be leaving to go out of town Friday, you should definitely hear by Friday.

They're... well coming? Finished biochem Friday and scraped by earning my grade by a 1 point margin.

Anatomy is tomorrow. Got about 800 slides and 15 packets left to go through by then. Then its getting my butt into gear for OMM (not bad) and then Histo. Its a very tiresome week. I have never felt this type of exausted before, but its worth it.

In your case it is 10 days yes. They call a week after the last day of interviews for your group. I interviewed friday and they called me the next friday.
 
I'm in! Got the call about an hour ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
I got a call this afternoon also! I am in!! And I am a Texas resident. There is hope for out of staters!

I was just complete this morning. I'm excited about the possibility of attending OSU.

I understand that they have not yet begun to send invitations for the January interviews. Who here is aiming for that set of interviews?

It is extremely late in the cycle. At this I would recommend you applying to as many schools as possible, as your chances at recording an interview at any one of them is very slim.

This is my last app. I've already had 3 other interviews. This app was held up by the necessity for a DO letter.
 
I have a January 14th interview at OSU. If anyone else is traveling to Tulsa for that date and needs to save money, I have a fairly large house that has an extra room or two that you can stay in.

I was complete two months ago but no word yet. Will they send more OOS invites or is it slim chances now?

Call and ask! There are still quite a few rounds of interviews left. Hang in there!
 
OOS will continue till interviews are over.

I couldn't find this info elsewhere, so I thought this should be the best place to ask.

What are the secondary essay questions and are there any page/word/character limitations on each one?
