North Central does a few dates worth of interviews, and then will let students know. So when I interviewed there had already been 2 previous dates that had students interview. I was the last batch. After my interview, admissions got together and let everyone know whether they got in or not. So I had to wait about 3 weeks for a decision, but the other groups had interviewed 5, 6, 7 weeks before. So it might take a while before they let you know. I would call and ask if you're curious.
 
Also waitlisted at elmhurst. Also heard from two friends that they got waitlisted as well.
 
Could those who have been accepted to North Central please share your stats? I applied in early November and still have yet to hear anything (even an application confirmation) but it seems like people have been hearing back for months. I have a 3.78 GPA and a 305 GRE score and was hoping to have heard by now. Any insight is appreciated!!
 
Just found out I was accepted to Carroll!

Current Elmhurst student our director said that acceptances were put out before Christmas and they are going through the waitlist now since only a few spots havent been filled. I'm not sure why you havent heard anything!

I remember they give you a scenario and as a group you have to like talk through things. I didnt participate much because I didnt know what to do but going in maybe prepare to be notetaker or something. And they ask you about how you contributed to it and just generic questions about why OT or if a specific situation came up that made you realized OT was for you. Good luck!

yes, I was rejected unfortunately. But congrats! Hopefully you'll get pulled! I heard that last year they waitlisted too many so hopefully that means you have a better shot getting off the waitlist this year!

I did, as well. I am thinking of waiting a week or so, and then giving them a call to gauge how likely it is that I get pulled off the waitlist depending on my standing.

I had emailed them last week and asked for a timeline on decisions- I also got an email this morning that I am on the alternate list but Stacy followed up on that email asking me to call her. She was super helpful and told me my standing and gave me a timeline of when she thinks I would get in based on last year.
 
Has anyone heard back from North Central after interviews? I interviewed beginning of January and haven't heard anything!

I heard back the Wednesday after my Friday interview but I know they said that they would be sending out a lot of decisions the 2nd week of March. I have until March 8th to submit my deposit and I will be declining so probs the week after that they will send out more decisions

I have also not heard back from them yet. They did mention that March 15th was the date they normally send out their first round of acceptances, so they might stick to that date.

Really? This is the first year they can accept in March since last year it was May.

Hey everyone, I go to Lewis currently. They are still reviewing the applications as far as I know! Our teachers haven't said anything about sending out any admissions stuff yet. Good luck to all of you!
 
I also just got accepted into Lewis University today, but I am still debating about it because I am worried about its accreditation status.

More decisions will come soon. I submitted my app on the early side so this might be the reason I heard back early. Plus, North Central is a great school!

I got accepted to Lewis as well, but I really don't know that much about it and am nervous because I have to make the deposit by Monday. Can you please share what you like about the program and why you chose it over others?

Have you heard back from Milwaukee yet? I emailed twice asking when I should expect to hear because I have a deposit to make at Lewis, but I want to hear from Milwaukee first.

I haven’t heard from them yet either. I am going to make my deposit at Lewis! I have family in that area and I’ve heard good things about the program

In my acceptance letter, it did not mentioned a deadline for acceptance. Where did it say Monday?
 
Is anyone else still waiting to hear from UIC? I feel like most people on here have heard either way.... I'm still waiting in anticipation for 48 more hours. EOD March 15th can't come soon enough!
