A few recent experiences have my gears turning:
- My parasitology professor showed us some National Geographic footage from when he was part of their team hanging out in the Amazon and studying the Yanomami. His stories were amazing. Dude rivals the most interesting man in the world.
- Reconnected with an old friend and found out he became an orthopedic surgeon. The better part of his life these days is spent traveling and teaching surgical fellows how to do a procedure he invented.
These guys have me wondering...
What is the most unusual or adventurous career path you are aware of for someone with an M.D.?
