I have heard of talks that the pain fellowship is going to become 2 yrs. in length. Does anyone no when that will occur?
 
Although there have been discussions about making the fellowship two years, I don't think it will happen any time soon. Some people also think that Pain Medicine should be a separate residency, but I doubt this will ever happen.
