I know you're all probably freaking out as you read the posts from all the people who failed part 2, but let me set you straight. First off, this test is no joke. It is legitimately difficult and you need to take it seriously. You don't have to study for 4 months 8 hours a day, that's just ridiculous. I just got my results back and passed with a few points to spare. I went through the decks once, (focused hard on path), mosby's once, mosby's sample test once, and a few of the questions from the released exam(that one you can buy from ADEA). I spent about 2 weeks off and on and a full week full out approx. 8 hrs a day or so.
Out of all of my classmates that have gotten their results back (~20 or so) only one failed (or so i hear from the dental school rumor mill). The highest score was in the mid 80's, but most were only in the upper 70's. The pass rate is approx. 90%, but that is split between all the first, second, and third time takers. SOOOO, study hard, study smart, and you'll probably be just fine.
