Oddly enough, now UNC NEEDS Clemson to win a game today. If they can beat Virginia Tech in Blacksburg this afternoon and UNC beats dook, then UVA and UNC would tie for the regular season ACC Championship. The higher seed for the ACC tourney would then go to UNC because they beat UVA earlier this season in their only meeting. In the end, that won't mean that much and it will mean alot more to beat dook today.

Here's a little known fact for many who have not spent much time in Chapel Hill or North Carolina. Did you know that Coach K is in fact the antichrist? I mean, he coaches a team called the blue devils people! What more evidence do you need??? I've recently learned that I can justify almost anything and discount any viewpoint based on my own personal ideology! Since that ideology tells me that Coach K and everything associated with dook basketball is pure evil, this must be true.... 😉

how do you think idealogies that are backwards to 99.9% of society become accepted. You can believe in anything you want. Look at white supremacists, black separatists, and of course the dude in Iran ahmadinajad (def mispelled, I wont tell you what I really think of him).

The color is called royal blue, but doesn't look like royal blue. And they don't have a Carolina blue color on SDN 🙁.

My alma mater made it into the tourney yesterday too (I didn't go to Carolina).
 
Weird, I thought the color of the text was pretty close to Carolina Blue. Not perfect, but far from the royal blue or any color associated with the "dark side."

And fetus, you came closer to spelling the Iranian president's name than I ever could......

Im gonna guess Davidson.. Its similar to me rooting for the miami hurricanes. I grew up in miami and they were my team forever.

Thanks dude. To be honest I have liked UNC forever love the baby blue or "Carolina Blue" heck I love MJ, Worthy etc..

I thought they'd be consistently ranked by now, ever since they made the sweet sixteen a few years ago, I was wrong.

As a matter of fact, the U hasn't produced on the football side in a while too. At least the stooge Larry is gone and we had a good recruiting class with Randy Shannon. It's all about the U!

Solid Gold the U has a great baseball team, the football team is 2-3 years out but they will be back. Basketball is another story but they could be getting one of the top 15 players in the nation for 2008. There is hope on the bball front. Football and baseball are still solid!

You're right about baseball, they usually are a contender every year.

Basketball has been disappointing since it was supposed to take off when they built the on-campus arena. (I hope it's not called the Convocation Center anymore.)

I just have high expectations for the football team I guess.

I'm still bitter as f**k about the 2002 Fiesta Bowl against Ohio State. I still heard about it on the interview trail when I'd meet a Buckeye, and i'll get more of it if I end up in Ohio. I still wear my "U" on my white coat though, and i'll always wear it.

I have asked for 1 day off this whole yr in the ED, it was for the Miami FSU game.

My in-law portion of my family are all from Ohio.. needless to say 2002 was bad. Even worse was how we got robbed but thats how it goes. We will be back though! I love watching the U football!

I was in the drumline. We were the coolest...so there! 😎

Hey Fetus...on my myspace page...if you look at the comments there is a drumline video. That's us in Tucson back in '97 for World championships. That's right...we came in 7th out of like 50.

I actually don't mind high school sports. i just hate college (partially cuz I went to a div II school).

My high school didn't have an AV club and I am the last person who you would want doing something like that. :laugh:

Oh, and by the way, I also hate marching and I certainly wasn't in the band in HS.

Because it detracts from the real reason for the existence of schools and universities- education. Instead of giving scholarships to academically talented students who might actually NEED support for their educations, they give the support to athletes- often of dubious intellect- only so they can have bragging rights because of a stupid game. That's why.

Don't know jack about DII, but I went to a DIII and love college sports becuase of it...especially DIII.

Hell my school was awful. But I still love college sports they are better than pro sports IMO. Il check out your myspace when i get back home. I am at the inlaws..
 
well in football at least we were 1AA in basketball were are 1a
