I was going to drive this trip, but my folks were nice enough to surprise me with plane tickets. I love my folks, and I don't want to sound unappreciative, but there's a reason why I wanted to drive...

Good news: I see the plane. Bad news: I am not on said plane.

Greetings from Cincy!!!! Man this hotel they put us up in is pretty sweet. They had a nice goodie bag for the applicants on check in also. My interest in this place is already high, but if this is any indication of how well they treat their residents...it's gonna be hard to not pass it up. The program looks rock solid also. Hmmm...supposed to go meet the residents soon.

After an almost 5 hr delay and some frighteningly bad directions from Google Maps, I'm in my nice hotel room and a pizza is on the way. Yay for Priceline getting me a nice hotel for super cheap.

My theory on winter is this people tend to find someone to settle down with for the winter esp in cold climates during winter more clothes are worn and so.... well its my theory..

Yawn, it is so weird to not work for a month. I haven't done this since way back in 2nd year, when I was studying for Step I. Or, correctly, not studying.

dude all i have to say is i love being in the ED our people are great. seeing the folks in the ED makes me want to be back and thankful i work with such great people!
 
Oh I wish I studied earlier tonight. I guess I'm going to try to get through a few before going to bed. Ughh!!!
 
Thanks. I managed to get through one, then tried to sleep. I guess that was better than nothing, as long as I remember it.

Chillin' in Philly for the next two days...but then head back to see the family in AZ and CA. It'll be nice to experience some warm weather for a change.
 
Too tired to study, yet not tired enough to sleep...or just feel guilty for sleeping with so much to do. I hate the guilt!!!

Bro we had a great and i do mean great set of didactics today.. survived some awesome airway stuff then i went to our last lecture and i could barely stay awake... anyways tonite i sleep well!
