It tends to flow through into med school. I know my senoir yr of college wasnt spent on the internet it was spent at bars...

Ahh just wait... while your fetus might not whine when that baby comes out it will cry...

I am whining because i got a bad case of senioritis.. I told my wife I havent put in an 8 hour day since October... I myself was amazed... Now a 10 hour day feels like a vacation.. The worst part is I spend most of my days waiting for people to answer their pagers and dealing with non-medical issues... Yuck..

500.. thats nothing... I had less than that up until the whole match process/interview season started this yr. I have posted over 3000 times in the last 8 or 9 months..

i think that i might have just unintentionally gotten really high!!! i was spray-painting some furniture (ya know, new twist on an old thing) in my garage. before you kill me, it was wide open with 15mph wind whirling around inside. anyhow, i don't understand what this huffing crap is all about. i am pretty sure that i inadvertently inhaled more than most 15 y/o's and this does NOT feel good. what the hell is wrong with them???? so to make myself feel better, i come inside and crack a cold beer. that feeling is much better 😀

anyhow, as an aside, when i purchased my spray paint i was carded. this is getting ridiculous, we get carded for everything now.

Well I guess it was easier to get spray paint, glue etc than to get EtOH.. Of course nowadays getting heroin, coke, weed, e, meth etc is eaiser than either of those... Oy vey...

Not too bad still. I got carded for an R movie not too long ago.

anyone have any thoughts on who will make it to the NBA Finals? I don't really like the NBA until the playoffs. That's when they finally start playing defense.
 
Ill go with the obvious choices... San Antonio and Detroit. I am a miami homer (my hometown) but they havent been impressive in the playoffs.

I think detroit loses 1 game prior to the finals and san ant loses 2... then San Ant in 6..

San Antonio...are you serious??? Tim Duncan is like 874 years old. Tony Parker can only take them so far...I don't know. What about Phoenix? Nash, Marion, Bell, THomas...I don't know. I think they might be in the running.

Tim Duncan is 30

Nash is 32
Tim Thomas is 29
Marion is about to be 28
Bell is 29 and will be 30 in 3 months

Thing is as most bball fans know big men play longer and stay at a higher level longer. (Look at the NBA all time scorers) If Amare was playing it might be different. Phoenix has no inside d and thats a problem. Theyll be lucky to get by the crappy Lakers...

I am not a spurs fan but parker Ginobli (who you forgot to mention) and Duncan are amazing and those boys play D....

The only other team out west with ANY shot is Dallas.

Phoenix, both LA teams, Memphis, etc have NO shot... take that to the bank..

By the way you know parker shot like 54% from the field... thats insane for a guard... I know Nash shoots a good percentage as well... but he doesnt have a big man who can play on that team....

Big men do stay around a long time, I can agree with that. I think it's more like the older they get the harder they flop. Their aggression, dominance, stamina and joints dont hold up like young whippersnappers.

Anyhow, outta the East is Detroit (agreed), but the west isn't as obvious. I still like the Suns, but I can see Dallas slipping past San Antonio to play the Pistons in the Finals. I can't argue with you too much about the NBA cuz the NCAA is my bag. I can tell that you are a season long NBA fan, which I am not, so I will back down and leave it at "we'll see how it plays out". :luck:

Actually football is my real bag.. I can talk college or pro till im blue in the face.. NCAA bball is a better game IMO but with all the stars going str8 to the NBA it ruined some of it (but did make it less obvious) but now they have to play 1 yr which is awesome IMO... I would be real surprised if PHX made it to the finals but who knows... its not like I havent been wrong before...

kbrown.. you will have a chance to become a pistons fan since youll be in detroit for the next 3 years...

Mother****ing medicine...

My senior (who is the only person I report to) just left today... I paged him to discuss my patients prior to signout and he is like.. yeah im in my car on my way home (i could hear the wind in the phone). I was like who should I talk to? His answer? uhh the intern.... Uhh they went home too? WTF? I cant write orders, I cant make decisions and I havent been in this hospital for 15 months... at my school we rotate at different places and let me say it is for good reason I have avoided this particular institution...
