Path's lead is shrinking..

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
501 posts. Sorry for the hijack people, but I felt that it needed to be done and what better place than here. Time for bed. If you read all of my posts than I applaud you and I will give you this complementary straight jacket.

I just read this whole thread from beginning to end (not really) and I have to say you guys have no focus at all.

And somehow coming from the EM forum this surprises you?

Oh look, something shiny...

On a completely unrelated note, I should be crunching numbers for the research I did this summer. I should have done it this weekend. When it didn't get done this weekend I should have done it last night.

What am I currently doing? Folding laundry, sorting out books to sell, and I have my Robbins open to Chapter 1 so I can get ahead since there's an alumni function for my undergrad that I'd like to attend on Tuesday, which appears to be a busy day school-wise.

It's amazing what procrastination does for my productivity level...

no problem, really hard to hijack a thread that really has no point, so go on hijacking. actually I think I'm hijacking the hijack.

I spent too much time on SDN last night. I know this because I had a dream that everyone was bashing me on this thread and then Lee Burnett stepped in and said that noone really had to read everything, so it's their own fault really. I shouldn't be blamed.
BTW this wasn't my first SDN dream.

Wow! Even I haven't had any SDN dreams. 😛

Wow, SDN dreams. That's hardcore.

On another note, I did my first IV last week (yay!). I then missed two in a row 🙁 including an easy one. I got another one yesterday with a nurse in the room for moral support. I got one today ALL ON MY OWN 🙂.

I was so proud.

The PA at work has been starting them on EVERYONE if there's any excuse when I'm around. "Oh, we could give this toradol IM, but that hurts too much. Let's give it IV. SoCute - start a heplock on her."

I should be writing a lecture. Instead, I am killing time cruising the net and watching Breakfast Club. Now that's good tv

Wow, what a small world. I'm watching the Breakfast Club too. I didn't know it was so funny.

Mr. Vernon: "Now this is the thought that wakes me up in the middle of the night. That when I get older, these kids are going to take care of me." :scared:

I realized I had hit the 'old enough' point when my research advisor and I were meeting with our research coordinators (who are about 21). We had an application for a coordinator position with the name Dong.... a great guy. My advisor and I kept talking about 'the donger' but they kind of just looked blankly at us...

"No more yankie my wankie... THE DONGER NEED FOOD!"

Right there with ya Red!

Here's one for you: "I don't want to sell anything, buy anything, or process anything as a career. I don't want to sell anything bought or processed, or buy anything sold or processed, or process anything sold, bought, or processed, or repair anything sold, bought, or processed. You know, as a career, I don't want to do that." and of course (from the same movie) "I gave her my heart and she gave me a pen."

Been more than 12 hours so I'm padding. On a different note, I got to watch an LP during my volunteering. Yay for me. I can't wait to actually start doing them. :meanie:
