Hey Folks,

If you recall, in several other posts, I've mentioned the Wheeless text as being a great reference for pelvic surgery. I just recieved an e-mail from our GYN/ONC that the material is available for free on line. Go to:

http://www.atlasofpelvicsurgery.com/

This is especially a good resource for the interns and second years, as reading texts such as Te Linde's may not be enough in visualizing the procedure the night before. I used this for my first cone and TVH. Some of the material, such as Cesarean delivery, may be outdated and no in line with standard practice at your programs (i.e. closing peritoneum)

Best of luck!

wow! thanks b/c it is a very expensive book.

Great link - thanks! Wheeless is THE book - used it all the time in residency. I also like Baggish's book - it has cadaveric pictures as well as drawings.
